Even that's a hard comparison. Huge AOE, 3s stun potential with a reasonably easy to satisfy condition versus a tough to aim ability. Pack it in that most enemies are afraid to even attack Vert because of the Abolish/Panic Aura synergy, and he's actually more resilient than Evair is. Crosswind has a shallow AOE and a rather tough aim, despite dealing 240 damage on a shorter cooldown. (It's stun capacity is also only 1 second, one third of Abolish's)
I'd say that you just pretty well compared the two... and made allowances and explanations for their differences in power and scope. i havn't seen Ev in action, but he sounds fine by me.

Janise pulling units half-way across the map is a little powerful.

Hook them onto a mine, teleport to your location, and call the mine to you. The enemy flies into your base.

That requires a perfect line of sight, though. (Which doesn't exist in any way into a base) Units can't be pulled through unpathable objects, nor can wisps get pulled through unpathable objects.

Don't scold me for this, but aside from the hooking heroes, what else can she do?
Her first skill makes planted mines explode instantly if it hits, right?

I'm really stumped at playing her, so please shed some light on this, as Janise is my fav. hero before the remake and now I can't relate my playstyle to her anymore.

What can she do? Well, she can pull wisps around and use them as weapons. (They deal 250 damage at max level with a 1s stun on a 4s cooldown, that's huge) She can also spawn wisps next to enemies, port onto them for 280 damage, and then pull the wisp to set it off right away. (For the other 250 spike)

And like you said, probably her most lethal weapon is the ability to lockdown heroes and yank them backwards across a lane into allied heroes. She's real support, but she's packing enough of a punch to really kill stuff too.

I know that you love to spare map-space by reducing the quality of imported materials and it works most of the time but the passive icons of Sozen's Resolve, Glasse's Reflection and Vela's Rake Armor look pretty terrible.

All of them are in-game expect for Rake Armor, but they don't have a passive version in-game. That's why a passive verison of them is imported but they're poorly done.

They're done exactly like the icon is and are already in-game, working, and look good (they aren't reduced in quality). What are you talking about?

Just compare them and for example Arró's Heat and you'll see what I'm talking about.
They look as if the edges have been simply cut off in Paint and then converted to .blp.
