I've watched a lot of anime in my time... Let's see, favorites...

I'll have to go with Blue Gender, Chrno Crusade, Shana, Gurren Lagann, Ghost in the Shell, and... Naruto wasn't too bad.
"Within every world, there are cultures, within every culture, there are groups, within every group, there are leaders. These leaders are not truly chosen, they are destined, it is their fate to lead, and it is this fate that drives them. Souls yearn to be driven, they in themselves can not direct, however, these leaders are predetermined, by whatever means, to guide the wills and mend the errors of these wandering souls. A forest, cold, cured, flawless, meticulous, and fearful, what drives it, what keeps the balance? The inner beings of all the co-existant creatures swarm together, and every one is guided by another, in more a cycle, then a hierarchy. The eyes of a forest are always watching and guiding, yet the sun never sets on the forest, and it never shall." ~ The Chaos Theory

I watched Naruto for a bit to see what all the hype was about, it quickly turned into the next DragonBall Z for me.

It would have to be Death Note and Air Gear, (as in the Manga)
But for anime, it would be Gurren Lagann and Gundam Wing.

Before, when I used to watch anime I would say my favourite would have to be GitS.

Japanese version, subtitled. The only way to go, I saw the english dubbed one, and I don't like it....

My favorite Animes have been: Trigun, Bleach, Black Lagoon, Cowboy Bebop, Evangelion, Escaflowne, Full Metal Alchemist, and a few others that I am forgetting. Naruto was cool, but now it's just become another Hellsing seeing as Naruto has the whole Kyuubi tails popping out. No offense to people who like Hellsing, but it's the same reason Trinity Blood was meh for me as well.

Hmmm Would Hellsing be worth seeing? Or is there another that has a great storyline/characters?
I play TF2.
Ok, so I live on TF2...

Well, everyone likes Hellsing because it uses the cliche of Vampires and modernizes it into Anime form.

I personally just like it for the pwnage that is Alucard and that one warrior of God.

Gunsche is cool too.

Send them to their violent graves, don't spare anyone
Dead and wounded lie all around, see the pain in their eyes
Over the field an eerie sound, as we hear the raven's cry

You also like monomolecular edged swords and chainaxes. -_-;

Actually...

While the anime for Hellsing is alright, I much prefer the Manga, it's much deeper, longer, and cooler.

However, if you really want to see it in animation, look up the Hellsing OVA's, because they are much closer to the actual Manga.

But Loki, Dusk debunked the theory of monofilaments in front of me! T_T

(And how a chainsword/axe is implausible...)
