Uh...

All assorted discussion regarding Obsidian Depths, options, heroes, and everything should go in here. If you can't think of a place to post something and it's relevant to OD, I recommend it be put here.

Dusk, what ever happened to Advent Vertigo? Did you postpone it, or stop working on it altogether? (There was a section on the old forums)

I've played it before it is very very nice. I just can't wait for the rest of the heros to get done so we're not confined to about 3 finished ones. One question though, are you using custom skins and spells in this too?

AV was a weirdo map I made. I'm just not an RPG developer I'd say, I don't have the motivation or willpower to code quests, they bore the hell out of me. I guess if someone with some RPG-making background ever wanted to poke his head in and give it a try, I'd probably not be totally averse to it... But I consider AotZ 3.00, DoE 1.09, and OD 1.00 far more valuable to work on than AV.

Yeah, RPGs don't really work in Warcraft 3. Only one-timers, like Rexxar's campaign, are enjoyable.

I like the concept of OD, I'm sure you and KR won't run out of ideas for levels, have fun developing it.

Play League of Legends, get to level 10 and I get buffs.

Looks cool so far. It seems like the minotaur thing would look better as a golem. ~_~ Hope to see this map progress!

I was going to try it out last night, but then I ran into an epic AotZ and couldn't resist. I hope to try it out later today.

I actually played this with Steve and couple of guys from OotR.

It was really fun, even though it was one level (we were confused on how to activate the boss though!) and the "Chase the Kobold!" thing was annoying at first, and then we got used to it and it lost annoyance quickly as we raped the hell out of the dumb lil kobolds. But ,the abilites and heroes themself were fun, as well as looking at the attribute-system-thinger.

Lol, the Kobold is supposed to be a pain in the ass. Every level will be difficult in its own way, that's the premise upon all coop games I play or make.

I enjoyed this alpha a lot, gives a whole new perspective on hero teamwork. :)

(By the way, Sabertooth, nice avatar! Hehe.)

I tried
Maybe you shouldn't make the heroes with no skill selectable.

It's just an alpha. The ones with no skills will be prolly be filled in by the next version.
