Yeah. You may have noticed I haven't entered the Warlord's challenge yet with Law...that's not because I haven't seen it. >_>

Fun for you maybe, but Not when you have my luck and keep running across Speckled Copper, Brown, or Metalic Blue potions.. Which in my game are Slowness, Blindness and Poison. No one buys any of your potions at that point, so you just throw them at enemies in hopes that they break and slow/blind/poison them... but they never do :(.

Also, from playing around in both of them. It seems that Magical items are a fair bit more common in 3.0.9 but staves and wands are more common in 3.1.0 (Of course with my luck, they're all Wands of Haste Monster and Staves of Darkness.
I weep, I weep at my own idiocy, my favoritism, for the end of an era, the fall of a giant, I weep for the lost souls who rested upon it's shoulders, who found themselves beneath it's girth, for those who stand over the fallen behemoth refusing to let it die, I weep, for all who found safety and comfort in it's shadow and for all who depended on it's watchful gaze, in this world full of malice, in this world full of suffering, chaos and hatred... I weep

I can send you all 3.0.9 if you want. I'm pretty pleased with the way it works in terms of drops and so forth.

Hito, why did you assumme that cave spiders will be a horror for us? I just played a game and were hacking through hordes of those noobsauced insectoids. Piece of cake.

Btw, forgot to mention I were a warrior half-troll (lvl 3-5) with some nice armour.

Btw #2, a tad later I died quaffing all the potions I had ^^

Cave Spiders rape almost everything. Warriors are good against that kind of enemy, though.

Warriors are good against everything. You just hold the direction button, and rape everything on the way. Maybe in very late late-game they get behind, when mages get some imbashit spells. But by that time, a warrior has 300+ hp and probably some nice armour.

You've never taken a warrior past DL20, I'm guessing. Vibration, Inertia, Nexus, and Gravity Hounds don't need spells to absolutely demolish any idiot wearing heavy armor or carrying a large burden. You'll learn in time that warriors are only 'rape' for the first 10-15 DLs and after that you'll wish you had some spells.
