Just a hint: Don't diss the game before actually trying it... I did, and I got into the beta, and let me tell you that the game is really cool. Also, it runs flawlessly (low graphics though, but does that really matter?) on my 10 years old computer (the only thing that was changed is the motherboard, and I added a bar of ram), so if you're worried about it being unable to run, think again! The matchmaking blows anything we've seen so far out of the water, as you're paired, based on 10 placing games, in which bracket (copper, bronze, silver, gold, plat, invite-only league) you get placed. Now, as a player that has played a wooping 3 games of starcraft I in a lifetime, I feel like I'm progressing every day! and will probably end up in the bronze-low silver league. Got screenshot requests? ^^

On a serious note, how do the Zergs work? You still have the base and those small worms spawning from it, which you can convert into units? And the flying weirdos for increasing food?

Yes, and as our local sc nerd pointed out, they're called larvae. They spawn from the hatchery every X seconds. The new zerg macro is that the queen is able to use a special ability that will add a few extra larvae to use.

Yes, but they lost their innate ability to detect, ironically making the zergs with the hardest time getting detectors, as they have to upgrade their overlords to overseer, who get owned by any form of AA

Meh, so SC2 will be region locked (at least at the beginning)... which is kinda... retarded.
Especially the Australians are screwed, since they will end up playing with Asians (Koreans not included, guess they have their own realm oO).
