When next we speak, I will be a thousand miles away in all directions. Worry not, my dear, for these are false dawns in hollow times; there is much yet to be said and accomplished. We'll see each other again. I promise.

I have squandered my days with plans of many things. This was not among them. But at this moment, I beg only to live the next few minutes well. For all we ought to have thought, and have not thought; all we ought to have said, and have not said; all we ought to have done, and have not done. Godspeed.

I return from my Exodus with a funny story. As I was traveling down I-95, an eighteen wheeler in front of me has his engine miraculously catch on fire. It managed to pull over and a half-dozen other people do as well to call 911. As I drive off into the sunset, I hear an explosion behind me and a smoke cloud billow up. All I can think: "Did that really just happen?"

If there was smoke and explosion then yes that happened. Unless that was a dream.

So is exodus over?
