I like the Mesmer too, but it's a bit too early to tell. We'll know for sure once the beta is closer to happening.

Fricken' epic movie, man. But I keep looking at all of those classes they reveal, seeing the Mesmer, but seeing no necromancers. I'm genuinely worried here...

Oh come on Dusk, no sensible company would give you necromancers one game, then remove them the next...
And though you come out of each gruelling bout,
All broken and beaten and scarred,
Just have one more try—it’s dead easy to die,
It’s the keeping-on-living that’s hard.

Sometimes I wonder about ANet and that sensible qualifier.

A new video came out, presenting each of the 5 races a little more. Which one do you think you might play?

I will start with Charr and Human. Then I'll probably try a nornbear, since they're amazing, and maybe a golemancer at the same time since they're also amazing. This is probably the only game where I've actually liked all of the races available in it, so likely all of them at some point.

Agreed. Humans are generic, but I'm a human and I rape, so that's fine. And charrs are just HOLYSHITOWN. I dislike the little shits (golemancer? pfft) and the two others left me MEH, Seen it before.

Asura have two strong points: they are grotesquely cute (I can think of no greater offense than being beaten by an alien midget chihuahua) and they summon Golems.

Also they should have just made Norns into this.
Those who seek war deserve for the war to find them.
