Fun with Guild Wars
Just a few shots here.

If you ever have the ability to exploit pathing glitches, DO SO.
Only in death does duty end.
Redundant, a new mod in Guild wars.

Those who seek war deserve for the war to find them.
Re: Fun with Guild Wars
Compatibility with what? Fable, for instance, has lower requirements than WoW, and it doesn't look like shit, it's beatiful.

It's a matter of opinion; legions of people would disagree with you when you say WoW looks like shit.

Well, I'm generally biassed towards MMORPGs. I hate all those floating texts and signs, usually not very polished environment, also the blunt RPG concept, where fighting doesn't look nor feel like fighting... Demigod, mentioned in some other thread, might be a good change, seems like it shall be real warfare, not a boring fight of imba hero builds and combinations. And obviously, Diablo 3, but that's not Massively Multiplayer.

You know I could have sworn I opened this up to post funny pictures I managed to capture, and other people were free to do likewise. I don't recall making this so people could express how much they dislike every single aspect of an MMO. Perhaps a nice tangent is in order...or a blunt gtfo. Your choice.

Good times. I remember that time in Halloween. Man what a game of Simon Sez. "DO YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE DEMON?"

Neither is demigod...andriejj wrote:And obviously, Diablo 3, but that's not Massively Multiplayer.
MMOS generally have lower graphic standards then single or limited multiplayer games becouse the world that is displayed is a lot larger, and a lot more data traffic has to be sent back and forth through the servers. Lowering graphic resposubility results in less traffic, wich can then be put to use for more important things, like communicating character data.
Look at age of conan, wich is a "good" looking MMO; it basically failed becouse nobudy could run the twinking thing.
Also wow is now what? 4 years old? and the engine was orginally contructed so that people who could run wc3, could also run wow. Thats purely theoratical though, to play wow comfortably you need a loooot more RAM.
