Re: AotZ < DoE (apparently)
Go, AotZ epicness!
That must be some pressure on Dusk's shoulders... "We want AotZ!" xD

*Shrug* From what I can tell, Dusk wants AotZ too. He just wants an AotZ that doesn't have EPIC FAILURE. Sure, it's EPIC as shit, and so is SOOO much better than most games out there, but you have to count in the FAILURE too.

Ohemgee..it is teh Manti?
Anyway, yeah. The more projects you do, the more experience you get, and that can only mean a better AotZ!! Plus, in the meantime, you'll be doing these other things and ~Maybe~ get a new ToB out. I'd personally like to see AotZ more, but, hey, quality is what counts.

You guys sound like coding AotZ is easy. It's most likely not. I've heard some of the ideas for 3.00 and they sound hella complicated to code. lol

That's only because you have no idea how to code them. :p

Re: AotZ < DoE (apparently)
By that statement, do you mean it's not hard, it's just tedious work?
I know somethings must be hard to code, but I've never had any experience whatsoever in mapping so I wouldn't really know.

It doesn't matter whether it's hard or not, that's something I deal with personally as the need arises, you guys don't have to worry about it.

It's not difficulty that's the problem. Time is.

Re: AotZ < DoE (apparently)
Surely there are some parts of the map that stump you, at least for a while Dusk?
People just need to wait: the longer it takes to make, the more effort that goes into it and the higher quality it will be. I hope.

Stupid bugs aside, not really. Even the stuff ToB wants me to do for them is pretty trivial -- And they're supposedly the most demanding team around.Surely there are some parts of the map that stump you, at least for a while Dusk?
Well, I won't lie, work goes very slow now. Give me a few weeks and I'll get back to you on that. :pPeople just need to wait: the longer it takes to make, the more effort that goes into it and the higher quality it will be. I hope.

Which reminds me ... this means you did accept the job? And how old is Cassiel by the way?Rising_Dusk wrote:Stupid bugs aside, not really. Even the stuff ToB wants me to do for them is pretty trivial -- And they're supposedly the most demanding team around.
I'm supposing there's a reason for this, hence the "Give me a few weeks and I'll get back to you on that." ...Rising_Dusk wrote:work goes very slow now
Have you ever considered making an RPG Dusk? Because the ones I've been downloading while looking for a good one to play have been sheet.

Actually Dusk started one (and will one day finish, he says) an RPG called Advent Vertigo.
And I have to say, it's the only RPG that I actually enjoyed playing...

Have any beta's been released? I've played OD, and it was great (seeing as it only have about 5 spells. =\ )
