Re: Anthem
I envisioned Nocturne as a thick black fog...stepping into it smacks them with Mute.
Once they are out of it, they can speak again.
By using Iamb, you could effectively make them muted 'outside' the fog.
At least, thats how I saw it working.
On the other case,
Iamb would only affect ONE condition.
It it affected all conditions, that could get RETARDED.
Imagine....Wrath + Epidemic + Iamb...
The game would crash because the hero would be muted, maimed, ruined, crippled, blind, burning, and bleeding for a good minute-thirty at least.
...
Make sure to test that Dusk XD

Extremely interesting hero, can't believe I read it this late.

Is his story in an iamb? I really can't tell but seems so.Kaome Sky Deathand wrote:Updated Story.

Ok, assuming that this Hero has infinite mana (or just a mana potion) and the correct heroes in the team, that's infinite duration for any conditions set on the target for the 2nd skill. Let us calculate. Anthem with Tornne: 2 sec cripple + 6 sec(first cast) + 6 sec (echo) x 50% (Tornne's ult). 21 second duration... just with Tornne. Did I mention it's approximately applicable for ANY condition and doesn't count items? Oh yeah, didn't take Wrath for 6 seconds into the equation either... hmm... how about all conditions for 36 seconds (I don't know how Tornne's ult applies to condition extensions, so I omitted it)? Oh, and just because I'm bored, with Rikter's Edge, that makes it about 48 seconds. Then spell/echo again and voila, endless cycle.Kaome Sky Deathand wrote:Imagine....Wrath + Epidemic + Iamb...

Re: Anthem
Well, he doesn't have infinite mana, and if he's staying around long enough to spam these, then he's obviously gonna take a hit, and there goes the mana potion.
Read my prose please .

I like how in all these scenarios people make, he isn't being attacked.

Re: Anthem
It seems difficult to attack someone who halves your damage and move speed, not to mention prohibits the use of spells/items, reduces armor, and does 30 damage per second with just 1-2 heroes around (Exuro and Tornne).

Re: Anthem
But of course, you haven't silenced, or stunned, or thrown a flaming spear, or a fireball, A barrage of Arrows, a Giant Bear, Twin whirling Axes, A ray of smite, Thrown up Fourty wards of lightning/five extinction/53 Healing/and a pear tree....etc.
What I find difficult for people to understand, is that no matter how epic you make a hero in this game, A Pro Sozen player can take it out in less than five seconds.

Re: Anthem
Hm...actually Kaome, I think Genobee or Dagurnott would take a bit more then 5 seconds...
Maybe like, 30 seconds. <_<

Re: Anthem
None of you seem to have read Kaome's previous post either.
I'm just wondering how it'd work on Exuro's ultimate. Does it have a priority in which condition to extend (As in, if the target has Mute and Bleed, it'll extend mute every time), or is it random?
In either case, it doesn't give all conditions for 36 seconds. Now THAT is crazy.
I think that it's an incredible hero. I love it.
Which, really, isn't that bad. It's still insane, but so are all the skills in DoE.Kaome Sky Deathand wrote:On the other case,

Re: Anthem
I'm quite confident that a hero suggestion shouldn't worry about balance too much since that's strictly my job assuming I like the concept enough.
