Re: Pyrax, Shifting Inferno
What if, instead of that lamez0rs Consuming Flame, you used a skill that did something like remove Burn conditions from the hero and explode outward, extending burn conditions on enemies for the remaining duration of Burn on the target? Pretty similar to the first skill, but still an improvement in my opinion. Sorry for threadomancy, but this hero interests me a lot.

Maybe so, but I dont think you have to worry about it for the moment
It was a great hero, and for all we know, one day dusk might take it and rework it so that it doesnt have any issues he has with it

Re: Pyrax, Shifting Inferno
How about a spell like this:
Pyrax spews lava forward, dealing x damage to all struck units. If it hits a foe with burn, it cools down twice as fast.

Is the ulti passive, or like Epidemic (activatable I think is the word ...)?

Re: Pyrax, Shifting Inferno
Hmm... This has a nice idea. Lemme go shifting through hero suggestions for a while, I remember making a hero that might have some neat skills you might want to use... Nevermind! Was on other forum, which I can't figure out how to access now.
Ideas:
Ideas:
- Have Eruption AoE around self, and hit all of YOUR(Not Allied) units in addition to enemies. When it kills a unit, have it cause another blast at 50% dmg.
Replace second skill completely. Perhaps have it destroy a summon, in order to heal self instead, and maybe a second effect too. Should be relatively spammable.
With this build, Inner Fire actually works great, because you can thwap it on your summons, and expect them to die fairly quickly because of your other spells.
Oh, and for the LOVE OF GOD, FIRE LORD MODEL, NOT FIRE SPAWN!!!

Re: Pyrax, Shifting Inferno
Actually, the fire lord model would be terrible for the hero. The fire spawn has so much more personality and it looks so much better for spawning additional copies of itself with the ultimate. Shit, it even has the animation for it already, the Firelord doesn't.Oh, and for the LOVE OF GOD, FIRE LORD MODEL, NOT FIRE SPAWN!!!

Re: Pyrax, Shifting Inferno
I thought the Fire Spawn model didn't have a cast animation, at all?

It has a birth animation though, and that is far better for the ult than anything else.

Plus, the fire spawn wouldn't even need a skin because its so awesome already
I have never been a fan of the firelord model.
*hopes that 1.09 comes with more heros than expected*

Re: Pyrax, Shifting Inferno
I guess the main problem I see with him is that, although the skills work well together and all the jazz, the way I designed him he has too much of Stille tossed into him.

Re: Pyrax, Shifting Inferno
What you designed and what I see in your design do not always coincide.
