Because -20 armor is huge. I can't possibly believe you find -20 armor balanced at any rate.Rising_Dusk wrote:Why can't it just be -2/-4/-6/-8/-10 and stack with ruin at all levels?

Me too. Your talking to the guy who balanced Sozen's mana drain for his ult with a random number off the top of his head.Rising_Dusk wrote:I find your lack of faith... Disturbing.

What you could call luck, but I wouldn't. Dusk is a brilliant mapmaker, and I always put faith in him, I wouldn't be here otherwise, but I find -20 armor imbalancedly huge, and can't think of a way where it could be accepted, without nerfing the duration to 2 or 3 seconds, which would limit the usage of the spell alot.
Re: Canus Unum, Hero Contest Winner
True -20 would hurt but honestly it would require the enemy to be against both Canus and some other hero on Order that can cause ruin. Then depending on durations and how much time passed between getting each, the length of the -20 would probably be fairly low. Added to the fact that he really doesn't have much damage dealing, (Darkwake and Penumbra and Darkwake is low and hard to aim) I don't think it would be too hard to tweak numbers for balance.

Or make it wear off slowly over time, something you neglected entirely. Just shush about balance, I know what I'm doing and short of a typo in the code (Maltheron...) he won't be imbalanced. What you could call luck, but I wouldn't. Darth Dusk will use the force and make the wc3 engine accept the code, make people like the game, have everyone play it as a daily part of life...OR DIE.

-10 armor should be a maximum debuff. If you leave the limits you've given yourself with conditions, dusk, then this'll soon become like dota!!
EDITlol: No really though, you should definitely stay within the limits. Rendabi will now give ruin to pretty much anybody ( subject to change amirite ) and so, I don't know, having everyone with -10'd be weird

We'll see, I may end up changing that skill entirely anyways.

Re: Canus Unum, Hero Contest Winner
It better be changed, we've got bad enough problems trying to avoid death by Vela's bonecage. -20 armor is a death sentence.

I'm tempted to not change it just because you have the audacity to tell me what better be done to my map. I'll take suggestions, but I do not take demands.Wufei wrote:It better be changed
