How to play Black Lantern properly?

Well, I am trying to figure out how to use ultimate passive. I always use taint on one unit, hit once, spread those conditions, and while ulti is on, those units lose no extra hp, and were supposed to. Doing something wrong?

If you were to be hitting a single target dummy, the fight would go as follow:

-Taint to inflict an initial cripple
-Which will allow you close up
-Activate ultimate
-Alternate attacking and using taint whenever it's off cooldown

Against multiple targets, it would be more or less the same;

-Taint to inflict an intial cripple
-Close up
-Activate ultimate
-Attack
-Epidemic the crippled/maimed target to spread
-Chose a target, and alternate attacking and taining, cooldown allowing

Of course, those are the basic against-a-dummy moves. With any half competent players, you'll have to dodge spells, make sure creeps aren't going to give you a beating, etc, etc.

Yes. It only deals the damage when you APPLY the condition, not when it's already on them. So you want to get the ultimate's effect on the enemy, THEN taint them and epidemic.
