Innert is incredibly overpowered

This is where all bug reports or hero complaints regarding DoE should be made. Whether you have an issue with balance or an exploit to shed light on, this is the place to put it.

There was a time that I was Innert.

I planted the spirit of siphoning, then Vert came and Deceived my poor spirit.


Needless to say, he detonated the spirit when I was in a ton of creeps. The spirit burn already absorbed my life and burned me, and I died.


Pretty damned hilarious.

OMG, that's awesome! I just wish Discord worked on other player's summons. I remember having a quick death once when I tried to use it on Dis' spawns.

That means Spirit of Siphoning is just halfly multi-instance. It brings the summoner (Innert) to the position of the cast, but deals damage against the enemies of the owner. Interesting function. :P

Although, it would be strange if it teleported Vert around, once deceived. :shock:

But Communion has the potential to create a huge explosion when coupled with Extinction. And Blink is from an item.

I think the point has been made and dusk has probably made fix changes so i don't think we need to worry about this for now. We can't really judge how powerful/weak the updated innert is going to be until we get the next version. But I think we now have plenty of food for thought, to say the least.

How will it work, then? Teleport the one with control? Steal life for the current owner?

The reason why innert's spells may seem so powerful is that because every single of them can be dodged or denied in some fashion. In addition, the spells can be used against him, look at wheel of plague or shockwave against schism, or sunder against spirit burn. And with the upcoming patch, innert will need to be close to enemies for his aura to have effect, and that'll be just another downside. Finally, Blank makes poor players believe that they become unkillable.

When they aren't.

He'll be fine now, rest in piece

I personally don't play Innert much, I are habz fail at using spirits.

Except all three of Innert's basic spells eat creeps.

I don't really know Innert well enough to offer an opinion on each side, just random thoughts >.>
