So, this isn't as awesome as it could have ended up being. I had to release the actual version as soon as possible because of the beta leak (Otherwise people might get confused and think that the 1.09 beta is a higher version or something silly). So yeah, what you see is what you get, I'll update if there are any glaring problems with it or whatever as normally. Feel free to discuss it in this topic and all of that fun stuff.

Just played around a bit with the new heroes in single player and I must say that all of them bring something unique to DoE.

The only issue I had during the test session was Tristan's passive. By that I mean he veers off when I directly right click onto a unit to attack, I remember from other maps that this "veering off" happens with some missile type spells as well.

Now, this problem can easily be turned into an advantage by some of the more experienced players, but new players and even some older players will have trouble using a hero that moves 700 units perpendicularly or backwards from unit they wish to attack.

I had that issue with Tristan as well. Also:

- Innert's Spirit Burn activation has the same hotkey as Schism.
- <3 that Lava Spawn dude.
- I always imagined Tristan's ultimate to be a sort of black-purplish form of the level-up graphic.
- It might just be my crappy computer, but the game started lagging after (and during) the casting of Discord.

Click the area near a target, then attack.

but some issues:

Fasaat kills my WC3 for some odd reason

In Parhelios's story, is "site" supposed to be "sight"?
I know it's a minor thing, but I just went back to read all of the hero stories and noticed it.

Okay. My friend and eye just spent a while on LAN with this. Epic :3
I came when I hurd about the 2 new heroes.
First of all, I think Dis needs a buff, he is simply just so difficult to keep alive. I love his game-play though :3
Valor and Zeal for Vicky didn't seem to synergies well with his other skills, but it definitly helps in certain situations...
I also expected a bit more from Jhita... I never even chose Splinter Cell.
On the whole... EPIC WIN ;3 I love it to death and I thank you OOH so much :3

It's great to finally have 1.09 out, even with the circumstances.

just a quick thought for 1.09b or 2.00 or whatever: please make Path of Shadow activatable/deactivatable.

The game crashed when I played it, not sure why. DoE has never done this before, so I'm not sure what's going on.

That said, this update is really awesome. Nice work.

i absolutely love the idea of Path of Shadows, it is simply brilliant. The only problem with it is that (as has been mentioned) he flies off at a perpendicular angle when (i'm not sure which is the exact cause here, they seem to be interrelated) he either attacks an enemy or moves toward an enemy but is blocked. He also flies off when hit by a trebuchet. My only beef with the skill is that it is unpredictable - when it works, it's brilliant.

Oh, and i probably seemed a little blunt in my last post, what i meant to say was:

Dusk, you are a fandangling champion. I know how much work you have put into 1.09 and it is, quite frankly, a masterpiece. As soon as i've got time (and it's not between midnight and dawn US time) I am immeasurably looking forward to hitting B.net and joining the epic gamage.

P.S. IMO Tristan is the new Sozen.
