How do AotZ and DoE relate story-wise to WC3? Are the two subplots inside the game, or is WC3 merely the engine running the game?

Take Victor, for example. As a Divine Sentinel, does he have any relationship with the Silver Hand? Does he know the Silver Hand? And Skittel...is he some sort of Nerubian variant? Does he know the Nerubians?

I'd love to see Dusk's voice on this.

Im almost positive it has absolutely no relation to wc3 other than being made in its map maker.

There is zero connection between War3's universe and that of AotZ and DoE.

The above two posters are entirely correct. There is no relation to WC3 at all except that the maps are made within the WC3 engine. I only use the models I do for the characters because they are what I have accessible to me, none of them actually look identical to what you see their textures on in-game. (Models, I refer to)
