Selecting game modes via dialog windows is better than typing... no? Though I didn't see anyone mention it, is there a reason?

Re: -rb
The best way to implement this, IMO, would just be the random suhffle at the beginning of the game. Mostly because hero combos, like the ones mentioned, would be rediculously imbalanced.
Re: -rb
Why not simply allow a player to rebalance himself when the need presents itself ( 6v4, 5v3, 4v2, 3v1... )? I would gladly join a losing team, personally. Because we know the losing team always gets the leavers. For the challenge, you know? I'm sure more people would agree with me here.

And if you read the pages following that you'll know exactly why it can't be done that way.

Re: -rb
Too long. But there must be a way to do it fair and square, I mean, 2 leavers in 15 minutes is SO annoying, because you don't feel like restarting the whole thing, and yet you don't feel like playing anymore.Rising_Dusk wrote:And if you read the pages following that you'll know exactly why it can't be done that way.

The only non-gay way to do it for the player is to let them keep their hero, the only non-gay way to do it for the game is to make them change heroes, and there isn't a non-gay way to make them change their heroes.

Mmm... wouldn't allowing a player to keep his hero AND switch create some uber synergy? I'd see that as a reward for trying to keep the game funRising_Dusk wrote:The only non-gay way to do it for the player is to let them keep their hero, the only non-gay way to do it for the game is to make them change heroes, and there isn't a non-gay way to make them change their heroes.

Re: -rb
We've already discussed that it would allow for gay and imbalanced interaction, people would just set themselves on opposing teams and rebalance themselves to abuse such interactions as the game became uneven.
