You underestimate the modularity of the conditions system. I coded the entire item in 6 lines.
And removing its functionality with auras and stuff would kill so much of its usability on so many heroes.
but would it work on perp hits like anicks?

Items mostly seem to apply to melee / dependant on their attack heroes. It'd be nice that + damage items actually work on spells, too. It'd create more diversity, because as of right now, everyone pretty much gets everything the same. Now you'd see offensive and defensive casters, at least. Now, trying to convince rikter to stack armor, that's another thing.

Shhh... What you're suggesting doesn't even apply. There are about 4 items that I haven't revealed and don't plan on revealing. They'll blow your mind with how modular they are with respect to conditions and what hero types can utilize them. Just wait and see.

Well, if there are 4 epic items, I'm all set. I was a little concerned about not having expensive enough items.

Any speculation as to when 1.09 will be out? Or are you just waiting on skins?

Heres another question regarding heart of rendabi and Tornne.

Would epidemic, when cast on a unit, give that unit ruin AND spread the same ruin to all enemies nearby?

Kassar already ruins in an AoE around him with his Fassat al'Freet (I think that's it?), the active-passive thingy thing. It deals damage, too!

Dusk, would the bonus damage from the new Rikter's be reduced by anything (the +damage on units with conditions)? Just curious.
