Re: 1.09 and Beyond
And what about Oblivion Seal's tooltip in the buff? It is funny, but meh..

Re: 1.09 and Beyond
Every game has easter eggs in it and no one complains about things like WoW or Starcraft or WC3 as being unprofessionally made games. I don't see why DoE should be treated any differently.

Re: 1.09 and Beyond
I've been wondering... Is that a mistake that the item (dunno the name) giving you spell protection says it gives 25% (or 33, not sure) protection from spells and "magick"(instead of magic)?

Fix Rikter's Keen Edge tooltip.
There's a typo on Keen Edge Buff, it should be "Keen Edge enhances Rikter's Attack damage" instead of "Keen Edge enhances Rikters Attack Damage"

I meant no offense, I was just wondering. I understand your point. It is funny, as I already mentioned, and noone really reads buffs, I only did accidently.Rising_Dusk wrote:Every game has easter eggs in it and no one complains about things like WoW or Starcraft or WC3 as being unprofessionally made games. Magick is a correct spelling of magic in some English dialects, including the one I was raised using.I've been wondering... Is that a mistake that the item (dunno the name) giving you spell protection says it gives 25% (or 33, not sure) protection from spells and "magick"(instead of magic)?
I took none, I was just explaining my stance. :pI meant no offense, I was just wondering.
Sure.Fix Rikter's Keen Edge tooltip.

Re: 1.09 and Beyond
I read somewhere that the 'k' denotes it being offensive magic, so that's how I've always seen in.
Read my prose please .

Speaking of buff tooltips, I always smile when I see the Zuma, Rawr! buff. It's so cute! Zuma Strike is okay too.
Arro's Armageddon tooltip, though... -.-

Re: 1.09 and Beyond
You should know! I've whined about it enough. It says 180/150/120 second cooldown, but it sooooo doesn't feel like it. Test it if you want (and yes, I know you've checked in the editor 'n' stuff).

Re: 1.09 and Beyond
I think it might just be WC3 flipping out. I agree, it doesn't feel like 120 seconds, but as far as I can tell it should be 120 seconds. All there is in the world editor for it is a single number, and for me that number reads 120. I'll time it in 1.09 with a stop watch, but past that I'm not sure what to say.

Assuming none of the heroes from the Hero Contest are put in, do you have an idea of what you'd put in?

Re: 1.09 and Beyond
So I got bored and timed Armageddon's cooldowns. Results should have been 180/150/120 but in actual fact they were 120/90/60. All are off by 60 seconds.
I'm right in assuming Armageddon's based off Rain of Chaos, no? Perhaps it has something to do with the cooldown on "Ability for Unit Creation"?

Re: 1.09 and Beyond
See, I noticed that too, but the thing is that WE says 180/150/120, so I have no idea what's going on. It's actually based on Blizzard, but so are other spells like Upheaval and Voidstorm -- And they all take their cooldowns fine. I really don't know what to tell you, but upon timing it in 1.09 it seems to be okay. It could've just been a fluke in the preprocessor for all I know.
