Dusk, you could try to takeover SC2 aos scene ;)
Models aren't a problem, I give people one month to start ripping models from wc3 into sc2 and I shall use them ;)

Omg, monorails. Tempting...

The only cool thing about ICARUS is that it's done on WC3 and not SC2. It will be a trivial accomplishment to make in the SC2 editor, so if anything, that's less reason to use it. :p

If I went to SC2, I wouldn't make AoS maps. I'd work on other sorts of things, and probably start by remaking my SC1 campaigns that I created. That would be a fun first venture.

I tell you what dusk, doe in my opinion is lot better than dota which works on simple rule, make it easier for people to play, unfortunately, dota is competely stun based, system like

stun
kill
buy item
get stunned
get killed
restart process

in case of doe you did a good job, and doing campaign is in my opinion waste of time, try getting an aos there, and who knows, some leagues soon?

Atrius stunlock. UNACCEPTABLE DOTA STANDARD?

Make a note; first of all, stunlock only if suffering a condition, plus you can dispel conditions. No such possibilities in STUNota - cos that's the way dota should be called.

Stunlock inside a sandstorm? Or firebrand. Maybe you just crippled him. Your argument is moot!

Nah, it's still a fact that in DoE it is much easier to evade stuns.

Not to mention that you were so kind to pick the biggest stunner in DoE.
So we can do the same for DotA.

Which means you instalose this trolldiscussion without even having to say more.

What's being discussed here? Well, Atrius can stunlock someone, but only one person. And God help it if you're stunning Arro Kree and you get unlucky for two attacks and he can turn around and use Fireball on your face, practically eviscerating you on the spot. Atrius is a very high-risk, high-reward character, and that's important for what he can do. I don't think it's anything like what can happen in other AoS maps where you can just fire and forget multiple Storm Bolts and keep a person stunned long enough at very little risk to yourself and kill them.

He can't do a rat about things while he's stunned.
50% of the time.

Dispel won't help if there's a sand storm overhead.
And he's got invisibility to match.

Plus, by the time you got to reveal him with the item, you'd be dead anyway.

This is stupid.
This will never work in an actual game. One half-wit ally will help you disable that Atrius and that's that.

(I'm just sparking some discussion to this thread. Go on.)

And one half-wit Atrius will just rape someone to death while blowing up the towers like balloons with his Sand Storm. Just sayin'
