1.10c Discussion

This is where all random discussion about DoE goes. If it doesn't feel like it fits anywhere else but is still related to the map, this is the place to post it.

Uhgmgm hasn't it done that forever Loki?

(I haven't played DoE in a few months so I'm not hip with all the new-fangled heroes and edits and such.)
Your move.

Updated to include the new fix version. I probably missed some super small stuff, but anything that I found important enough to scribble down as 1.10 was out I fixed up.

I have a tiny discovery.

If someone buys a worker at the start of the game (before any creeps spawn), then the trebs will attack it. This caused a problem when someone bought guys at the beginning and damaged our base, taking 300 health out of it. Again, this isn't a major problem, but just consider adding something so that the trebs can't attack units before the first creep spawn.

Also, I love the upgraded item icons!+rep

I'll work something out for that in the next version.

They also target spirits, and I'd assume wisps. It's quite ridiculous to begin with, considering the circumstances.

As for 1.10b, I must congradulate the way you handled Black Hole Sun. Very fitting, but not too off-kilter to kill the hero. Bravo!

The first game I played, I chose Tristan. I got 11/2/0 in the first 11 minutes of the game, I saw no real impact of the 'nerf'.
And I found somethin' funny. Victor's absolution aura effects the barracks.

Seta, it's a pubby. You are just gloating.
And yes, absolution aura on buildings is very silly.
Let's do what comes naturally

Another consideration for the next version.

Consider adding bleed to the conditions that trebuchets can cause. I mean, really, wouldn't getting hit by a giant rock cause you to bleed?

Yeah, but bleed doesn't quite have the same impact.

I've never been made to bleed by a blunt object, have you?

For that matter, being able to temporarily power up the Trebuchets to launch flaming rocks that inflict burn would be cool too.

Well, when rock shatter and the pieces fly at great speed, it can make people bleed, and i think upgrades for trebuchets are more or less exciting

I think you're on to something there... how awesome would it be to not only help pushes by buying creeps, but also help stop them by paying for temporary buffs on the trebs?

Also... I can't feel my fingers anymore.... god it's cold out here...
