This thread is for all basic discussion regarding DoE v1.10.

^it duplicates Sozen onto the Bane (he is red :3) and then collides Sozen with Anti-Sozen. The bright side is you get the
Higgs-Boson particle, the downside is that it destroys the solar system.

On a serious note - Well done, Dusk! Will get in and check out all the epic awesome new stuff whenever I can fit it in around study xD

Vela's "learn" tooltip still shows the old (1.09) cooldown, as in, 4 seconds cooldown at level 5.

After casting Consuming Flame with Dis, it sends him into a twitching seizure of animations. This is really just cosmetic since any command will break this. Also Black Hole Sun's tooltip says it refreshes when he deals Physical damage but does not specify if there are specific targets that it won't refresh with, like buildings. Tracer Arrow's tooltip doesn't sound like correct english... but maybe its just me. Boots of Blinding Speed's tooltip has some grammatical errors. When Innert casts Unsummon without having a Spirit, it shows a message, but if you click again while the cooldown is going it casts Schism on your location... >_> I have no idea why. Mmm k ... after playing around for a bit longer, I locked Anick's respawn timer at 0.00.

Splitting comments into a list is a more effective way to display them, as opposed to wall-of-text-mode.

That's the fault of the model's animation being looping. If there's an easy way to fix this, I don't know of it.

Just like innumerable other partially ambiguous tooltips. I recommend experimentation as the solution, it solves a lot of things.

Who knows, I generally sacrifice proper english to make the tooltips shorter. Whatever gets the message across.

I've hosted 1.10 several times last night.

Reactions: Several people think Tristan went from "annoying but balanced bastard" to "annoying and imbalanced bastard." Most of them preferred the old Black Hole Sun where you could actually break his invisibility by attacking the wards over the new and reworked one. I was the one playing Tristan and I do believe he is over the top now. It's just easy to chase down enemies and kill them. At this point, if a Baneite soloed my lane and I went invis they'd just run all the way back to their base/expansion. Two baneites vs Tristan was okay, but it was still easy to stay invis and whittle one of them down.

Other than Tristan, I haven't heard any complaints or have any more comments of my own yet.

I just tested this... he doesn't cast Schism... I made sure I had Schism and Spirit Burn learned, unsummoned a spirit and kept casting unsummon (both tapping the hotkey and clicking at the same time) while Spirit Burn was cooling down, nothing happened. I was hosting, though, so it may be because I had no lag... I'll try again in a game that's not hosted by me...

Sure. BHS is annoying, he won't significantly hurt you if you're running away, Umbra + whack is hardly a problem, just run earlier...

Regarding the Innert thing, why are you casting unsummon without a spirit to begin with? Seems like the schism from someone who spams unsummon wouldn't be hitting anyway.

In the games I played, we had the same reaction. By the time the 1st game was over, the player on the HO who was Tristan had a eleven-kill streak or something. Everyone on the Bane was screaming "F*CKING TRISTAN". But, I don't really care anyway. It's all good fun.

I don't see anything concerning corrosion, does that mean it remains?

The new changes seem awesome, great job dusk, too bad I officially quit wc3 two weeks ago :\ may drop by and check out Caliga my homie who knows!

For the moment, yes. I was unhappy with how my changes amounted based on the suggestions in the contest thingy. Also, Oxy, you knew I was going to use that skill name regardless if you had suggested a skill with that name or not. We discussed it in channel. :p
