Talking about Invisibility
Re: Talking about Invisibility
SF lets you bypass even that.

Re: Talking about Invisibility
Actually, I'd be more worried about Glasse's ultimate for invis. It would be FAR less useful if they broke on attack.

Re: Talking about Invisibility
for atrius, maybe make the invisibility breakable, but have a very small fade time (enough to allow the enemy to see a glimpse of him and maybe get one attack off). I think it'd look cool to see atrius radomely popping in and out of sight as he rapes your army.
Re: Talking about Invisibility
I like Oxy's idea breakable but with fade time and bonus damage on break.

Re: Talking about Invisibility
Perhaps have a item that only reveals one invisible target, but lasts a bit longer (8 seconds or so)? Or maybe tie it into conditions, ie, if hero has no conditions then remains invisible, otherwise they break on attack, or cannot remain invisible at all while they are affected, OR maybe only while they ARE affected. That could balance it out a smidge.

Re: Talking about Invisibility
How could you target an invisible unit which you can't see (hence the categorization "Invisible")?
That would be cool, and make Glasse's ultimate even more powerful. Plus, enemies wouldn't just be targeting Glasse, allowing for prolonged usage in combat.Deschain wrote:I like Oxy's idea breakable but with fade time and bonus damage on break.

Because Atrius needs to deal more damage.

Re: Talking about Invisibility
What I meant was an item that coudl first be cast on a hero while they were visible, and then keep them from going invisible while the buff was still in effect.
Re: Talking about Invisibility
That seems like it would only be very selectively useful (only on Atrius, Skittel and Tristan).Mundaine wrote:What I meant was an item that coudl first be cast on a hero while they were visible, and then keep them from going invisible while the buff was still in effect.

Re: Talking about Invisibility
Well, Skittel doesn't become invisible, per se. He just goes underground.

Re: Talking about Invisibility
He is, technically speaking, invisible. And if we go with your point, then that item is even more selectively useful. It just has a crippling effect on two or three heroes, and isn't useful for the rest. You can get out of the AoE for optic amulet, but if you're unable to become invisible, period, that limits the capabilities of these heroes significantly.Greenspawn wrote:Well, Skittel doesn't become invisible, per se. Re: Talking about Invisibility
if it remains to be only a problem with a select few, then deal with those select few by themselves. having even 1 item right now, doesn't manage to appease the situation, but adding more, as you've already responded, would seem like a one-sided attack against these select few heroes. Being invisible then, just has to be rendered to be less of an advantage than it currently is. breaking invisiility would be one way ot dealing with that.

Re: Talking about Invisibility
AoE faerie fire, maybe? Or maybe just set different limitations on the different heroes and their invis.

I like the idea of footprints or kicked-up dust.
Can't see the effect?

Bah, get a new pair of eyes or save for a good moniter. It's so visible, it's hardly worth discussing. Just use your eyes.
Too many things to "think about in combat?" Please, no excuses.
