Talking about Invisibility
Re: Talking about Invisibility
Make heroes appear .25 seconds every 5 seconds or so, and remove that trash amulet. Or you know what, just remove the amulet. Put an item that'll benefit all heroes, and not terribly screw a select few. Yeah, now that's an idea.
Or how about fighting fire by fire?
"Magic Mirror of Doom of the Whale ^2 pv=nrt Generic name 123 ketchup"
Whenever you gain a condition, nearby units are also effected for 1 to 3 seconds. Whenever a nearby unit recieves a condition, you are also effected for 1 to 3 seconds. If a nearby unit is invisible, you are also invisible.
Eh? Eh? And you thought kassar couldn't rape atrius any harder?

Re: Talking about Invisibility
just a thought, but what if it created a visible unit that only showed to enemies that depicted you either standing, moving, or attacking, so mimicking you're own animations as close as possible. heroes then can see you, but cannot toggle you... The images would be hard to see, but it's an idea.

That'd look like a lame remake of mirage's image effect.

Re: Talking about Invisibility
A little image when they attack/cast a spell would work nicely though, as opposed to all these nerfing suggestions.
Re: Talking about Invisibility
That actually doesn't sound half bad, like a really faded version of the invisible unit shows up for a split second whenever they attack or cast a spell or something. That way they can't be targetted by normal attacks, but it still gives a hint on their whereabouts.
I'd imagine it would be a whore to code though...

Re: Talking about Invisibility
I wouldn't think so. It's just creating a transparent unit that repeats an animation whenever the unit attacks or casts. Not too hard.Pigger wrote:I'd imagine it would be a whore to code though...

Random thought - the ability to upgrade your flying mercs: spell immunity (not that many spells hit air atm (more should)) and true sight?

If that wasn't possible, then I don't know how would Caliga be possible.Phox wrote:I wouldn't think so. It's just creating a transparent unit that repeats an animation whenever the unit attacks or casts. Not too hard.Pigger wrote:I'd imagine it would be a whore to code though...
I like that idea, transparent (75% transparency?) unit attacking a unit. It'd look neat with Glasse's ulti, and newbie would have some idea on what's happening to them when they got fuckpwnt with invisible creeps.
That or sand trails...just like Starcraft, when a unit goes invisible, there are some sign indicating that they were there. (Cloaking field or something), the light bends around it, looks pretty neat yet doesn't reveal the unit.
Re: Talking about Invisibility
You know, I really think that a whole invisible army under Glasse's ult, all attacking and spawning transparent images of themselves, would look truly badass.
Re: Talking about Invisibility
Well, I was thinking more difficult as in there would have to be a unit created based on what unit is attacking and all that stuff, so a dummy unit with every unit in the game's model would have to be created. I'm not a coder, Dusk is...
But just thinking about it, it makes me cream. I mean, its basically a delay effect on where an invisible unit is whenever it attacks, a very fleeting image of where the unit is, barely visible to the eye. The effect it would have would make fighting Glasse seem ever so epic, I mean, just imagining of what it would look like seems so amazing...

Re: Talking about Invisibility
How would you attack the hero if it just creates an image where the invis unit was. The only way would be with an AoE spell. I still don't think this solves the problem.

Re: Talking about Invisibility
...Yes it does? If you can tell where they are, Invisibility because "Is immune to targeted effects", which is very much more fair.
