Student stabbed two, one dead, other in coma

A place to talk about serious "real life" stuff without having to place it in between a demand by Blankie for food and Logue's latest almost-pr0n thread.

Student stabbed two, one dead, other in coma

Post by assassingao » Sat Nov 07, 2009 12:59 pm

http://www.bangkokpost.com/news/crimes/26988/

It was a usual stuff, at least, if it wasn't happening in MY school.

Grade 7 student stabbed two Grade 8 students, after they tried to gang on him.

Matthayom 1 = Grade 7
Matthayom 2 = Grade 8

I'm in Matthayom 6 / Grade 12 at the time that the incident occurred..

--

11.40

I was studying Astronomy in the same floor, albeit in the other side of the building. Then my friends looked out of the room to the floors, and her face was pale.

Then people ran past our room,.

Many footsteps and a trail, with drops of blood.

Then there was a crowd, one of my friend almost fainted when she got sight of the stabbed student. The student was stabbed through the chest to the heart. And bleeding severely.

It was unfortunate of me that I cannot get photo, nor sight of the victim, but maybe I was fortunate to be spared from that gory sight.

The police captured the Grade 7 student.
One of the victims (which was still alive back then) was my friend's younger brother. And that friend of mine lost control of herself after knowing that her brother was stabbed.

It was said that the Grade 8 students were trying to extort money from the Grade 7 guy, but I disagree.
So many theories yet so little truth.

It happened yesterday.

12.40

My friend got a phone call from someone, saying that one of the victim, the brother, is now dead.
The poor guy choked on Oxygen tank after it was inserted.

So quick.
One death.

One life is gone. Depleted.

Just for thoughtless actions, naiveness of the child. Nobody deserves it.

Sadly I cannot fathom the horror you were in. But why would you want to take a photo in the midst of mayhem?

Also take heed assassingao, trying to understand these things is often a fool's errand. You know the sayin: "When you stare in the Abyss, the Abyss stares back into you"

No matter how horrifying it was, it still was a one-in-a-kind (whatever it was called) that happened in the last friday.

To put it really short, TCG board members never grasped the concept of horror, and some of them are mocking the dead with their theories/philosophies, and I'm sick of it.

I posted here because I want to hear your thoughts on this matter, that's all.

It's just pretty scary to know that the school, which we deemed safe, are not.

Unfortunately, we are never ever truly safe. In fact by time I finish this post there are probably 10^100 ways I could die without finishing it.
As once Death in Discworld noticed everyone ignores it until it is their time to die. It is the only thing that keeps Discworldians alive.

So the best way to cope with stuff like this is to forget just enough that it doesn't make you paranoid and scares you just enough that you see it coming next time.

To be honest, I've only once faced a minor horror (being robbed). The terror you survived is beyond my grasp.

I've had a similar experience which reminded me just how fragile and uncertain life is, although it was not one of this magnitude.

I was sitting at a bus stop in Europe, when someone who I'd never seen before, and never seen since, walked up, punched me in the face, and left. No provocation, no reason, not even a word spoken between us, it just happened.

I've never experienced the terror you face, but I think I, in some lesser sense, understand.

I'm sorry this happened, and I'll keep you and all those affected in my prayers.
And though you come out of each gruelling bout,
All broken and beaten and scarred,
Just have one more try—it’s dead easy to die,
It’s the keeping-on-living that’s hard.

We can move on, but I'm quite certain that I couldn't wipe the blood trails out of my mind.

Even though I wasn't afraid of it...it was more like memorable. Once-in-a-while chance.

Save the prayers for the victim's families, for they needed them most.

By the way, the injured survivor survives, with his stomach and..what d'ya call it... guts stitched.

The dead guy wasn't my friend's brother, but my friend's cousin, sorry for misunderstanding on my part.

Apologies if you're offended by the source, but I believe that this article with its brilliant comparisons and analogies is an excellent explanation.

It only matters if you know the victim, this I agree.

The closer I am to the victim, more that I'll regret, this is what you're saying?

It's more of a discussion on why people do things like rip off the masses or murder strangers. Your social circle and the extent to which you can care is very limited. It's why many forms of utopian society don't work.

The very few of them actually rips off/kill their close friends.
The very few of those who do that has legitimate reasons.

But all get jailed for it, anyways.
