Well let's see. I like a large variety of music. Some of my favorites are:
Dragonforce
Sonata Artica
Mika
Maroon 5
Flogging Molly
Baroque (Vivaldi primarily)
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Dethklok
Muse
So yeah... Variety. I listen to each of those about equally.

Re: Favorite Band?
I'm pretty sure one of my friends like Dragonforce. He likes to sing a song that has something to do with this random guy talking to some girl who has a boyfriend who looks like a girlfriend, and I could've sworn that it was by Dragonforce, if it's not, I'm not sure where I heard their name before. o_O Is this that band?

Gah! I can't believe I forgot to include Maroon Five and Sonata Arctica on my list! Dragonforce is also pretty good, but I only like a few of their songs.

Re: Favorite Band?
I can't say I like any bands with any consistency. I've TRIED, really, but every time I hear 3 of their songs and go "Huh, I like this band" I'll buy a CD or something, and end up hating every other song on it.
I've come to the conclusion that no band is good, they just sometimes get lucky and make a song I don't hate.

Re: Favorite Band?
I love listening to music... but I never have the energy to get interested in any 1 band for long, if ever. Although I did listen to Linkin Park in the past... and Papa Roach... but really, I like many many different kings of music. The only music I won't listen to is country, rap, hip-hop, and "I love you so much! blablablabla!" songs. Or anything that sounds horrible and doesn't fall into one of those categories.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

The enemy are in disarray, ride them down as they run
Send them to their violent graves, don't spare anyone
Dead and wounded lie all around, see the pain in their eyes
Over the field an eerie sound, as we hear the raven's cry
