Rowr, it's kind of odd, seeing as the moment I get my new comp the new forumz is up.

Overall, I like it. It just seems a bit too blue, but that's only because I've been seeing that green and gold for two years off and on.

Wait, you mean like from a template? eeew. I'm all for custom design for a website but buying from a template is just...wrong. Besides, I know plenty of web developers, so you could very well get a custom valor-zeal skin for that amount or less. :p Or a free template that could be easily modded a bit. Let me look around.

I looked through at least 200 different styles before coming to terms with this one. Nearly every other style was too bright and blinded you if you looked at it for more than 2 minutes at a time. The rest were too stylized, looked wretched, had no style (pun intended), or were too dark.

If you have suggestions for future styles, post them in the Forum Suggestions area in their own topic. That way we can address the suggestions individually.

I'd rather not make you drop all of the cash on it, I'd feel bad. I feel it would be better if maybe 20 people pitched in 2$ or something, then I wouldn't feel so bad. And 80$ is an average, it really depends on the demands placed on the artists and forum coders by the client. The GWG site for instance was a cool 180$ or something around there.

This new forum has tons of admin features the old ones didn't, including unfathomably more security. We can also mass-delete users that have been inactive for X time period, a feature the old forum didn't allow at all. Even though you guys don't see a lot of improvement, the power of the BP and the admin see it a lot.

Hello Clan VZ! I'm Zieg, one of the mentioned web designers Hitogoroshi talked about. I had lurked a bit at the old forum, and I've played a game or two of WC with you guys too. I agree, your old forum looked much better. Luckily, it really isn't that hard to edit phpBB forums, and I'd be perfectly willing to help out with that. I've done some phpBB stuff already over at http://www.nixgeex.org/forum .
