Did he?

Although he may take any shape he desires to better serve each marked, this form is his constant when in his own dimension.
And though you come out of each gruelling bout,

Just have one more try—it’s dead easy to die,
It’s the keeping-on-living that’s hard.

Yeah, I didn't like that rendition.
Not that I can draw any better.

That's not how I envision Hollow either. Oh, in case you weren't aware, his name is not Anthem. After Kaome first came up with the idea for an Anthem, he worked on it with my feedback to turn it into Hollow, who is a far, far, far, far cooler character.

I envisioned him as more of a hooded, mysterious character that wielded near-infinite power, but only in moderation.
And yeah, I realized, he's Hollow, the Anthem?

He's Hollow, the Last Breath Before Dying, I thought.
Also, I'd like to see AotZ Janise as a theme. It'd be interesting to see different interpretations of her in her undead, speedy glory.

Dude... just had an awesome idea. What if we had a theme which is Janise VS Janise? I know it makes absolutely no sense story wise, but it is fanart, so it doesn't *have* to make sense, it just has to be kickass...Black_Heart wrote:Also, I'd like to see AotZ Janise as a theme. Remember that AotZ Janise is just bones and whatever scrap of flesh is left on her.

Who's to say the fanart has to be set right when AotZ is? She didn't decay that fast. I suppose I should have said "undead Janise" instead of "AotZ Janise".Loki wrote:Remember that AotZ Janise is just bones and whatever scrap of flesh is left on her.
Besides, it isn't like all the fanart up to this point has been totally accurate anyway.

That's her canonical appearance in AotZ. People don't have to draw it like that, it's more like an idea they can use and reference.

Anyone remember the model of Janise with the marking daggers idea? A nightmare of mechanics but an awesome idea. Use that. I don't like the DoE Janise as much.

Re: WCAS Theme Suggestions
Well. 2 Ideas from The Vertejaune week session.
We COULD draw each character with a meaningful rendition. We could incorporate why the hell are they here? For my serious rendition of Verte, I drew him as a Martyr, a hero among his people. Backed by his most loyal of servants, Genobee and Vela Extorah who would gladly discard themselves for the sake of their lord. Backing them is his giant armies, 66% of the void marches under his banner and for their sake, he protects them from the wrath of the bane by joining the council.
We could also do a comedic interpretation of characters of how they act within DoE or AotZ. For Rose, I've interpreted her as the picky and annoying pro who demands 150% effort from everyone pro and noob alike. She complains at every move her allies and enemies make and does almost nothing to benefit the Hallowed.
For Verte, I interpreted his charisma as many things. He gets all the ladies(PIMP), business has always been successful for him(MONEY), and other little funny jokes and things.
Or... We could draw... Smilies! Like a Vertejaune Smilie and such for the forum! Yaaaaay! We'd have fun and benefit the forum(possibly).

Now that's a cool idea. I wonder how many people would be up for making emoticons...Intoxicated Crayon wrote:Or... We could draw... Smilies! Like a Vertejaune Smilie and such for the forum! Yaaaaay! We'd have fun and benefit the forum(possibly).

I'd be game for making smilies, if anyone else is intrested.
