Introducing the first
Weekly DoE/AotZ Concept Art Session!
In this exercise, participants create their rendition of the selected character within one week. There are no restrictions on quality or medium (although obviously anything that violates the rules of the forum will be deleted). Participants are encouraged to create new work for this exercise, rather than posting old work. The image provided is a reference only, don't feel limited by any of the details. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Above all, have fun everyone!

1032; The Aftermath
1032 AE (After Exodus)
Politics is a face of the people that is never clean of deceit and treachery. Sozen's father worked as a body guard for one of the few honest members of the political council in Argon. Sozen's father was as loyal as any could be, a trait passed down to his son.
In the year 1032, the council member that Sozen's father was bodyguard for was assassinated by mysterious means. Before any investigation could be made, the rest of the council blamed Sozen's father, which most of the public knew to be absurd. Using their clout, the council successfully framed Sozen's father, having him executed for his crime.
Sozen was given his father's belongings upon his execution, including the enchanted armor given to his father by the assassinated council member. Sozen would grow up to be just like his father was, deathly loyal to whomever he deems worthy. Little did he know how important a role he would play in the upcoming war...
