Uh, in a pokeball obviously..

He's got it on the nose. That's just a rough map of the major river systems. Obviously there's more then that.

So, then, if its all marshy, can you use a water-ish pokemanz near Yarin or some similar area?

It's not ALL marshy. But there will be water. You'll find out when you can use water pokemon when you find water. :p

Haven't seen a question on it yet, so...

Pokedexes? Handy watch data thingies like in the later series? COLLAPSIBLE BIKES?

Pokedexes - They exist, but no "connection to server", so it can only tell you what you've already seen about pokes,

Poketech - They haven't been made for decades, so if you find one it'll be in pretty terrible condition. But it could happen.

Collapseable Bike - Sure, but you'll need a big backpack and it'll be HEAVY.

You mentioned in your introduction that each of us is a fairly well known trainer. How well are we known with the common folk? Are we respected? Or feared? Hated for "training the enemy"? I know this would differ from person to person, but what would you say is the general opinion?

Oh, I missed this. Hey.

In places like Yarin and Jin, skill is respected. Now, if you were to head to Seital, you'd be treated like a barbarian - it's "uncouth" to fight the ferals so down and dirty, not the respect of a soldier. But in the contested wilderness of Karud, people have learned to appreciate being saved (something Seital doesn't understand, sadly.) Not a celebrity, since there are so many of you - more like the reputation of a volunteer firefighter.
