The Legacy of Sephin'roth
An account of the trials of Sephin'roth when the land was in Chaos

Year 189ad
Sephin'roth, a warrior of unknown origins wielding a blade crafted by the Heaven's made himself known in Cheng Du after quelling a Bandit insurrection. He was awarded Gold and many Gems by the villagers as a token of gratitude. Over the course of the year he quelled numerous bandit uprisings and hunted down dangerous animals plaguing the land. He perfected an attack he called 'Falcon' an unguardable attack that left his enemies reeling. Thus began his reputation as a fearsome warrior. A man named Shen Gao joined him, but soon fled after witnessing Sephin'roths cruelty on the battlefield. Truly he did not want to dwell with demons.

Year 190ad
Sephin'roth traveled to Luo Yang again selling his services to those with the means to pay for them. Thrice over the year he fought and bested Sun Quan, eventually being joined by the Son of Wu due to his strength in battle. Months later Sephin'roth saved Sun Ce from a pack of Fire Fang wolves, the Brother of Quan joining him as well. They carried on as sellswords, being joined by Ling Tong, although the man did little in the way of actual fighting. All the while, Sephin'roth grew in strength, harnessing his keen prowess on the fields of battle.

Year 191ad
Sephin'roth spent the entire year searching for a rare material called 'Star Agate' In all his months as a mercenary he had never come across the valuable gem. In his search he crossed blades with a man named Rensun Dao nearly slaying the man in combat, but letting him escape for unknown reasons. Meeting with the monks of Wu Tai, Sephin'roth began training with them for a month. After crossing the length of China did he come to the castle and lands of He Fei under the guidance of Hu Che Er. There in the royal shops did he find the Star Agate and purchased it. With the last of his earned gold, Sephin'roth traveled to Jin Yang and bade a forge master to teach him the secrets of fire.

Year 192ad
Traveling to Bei Ping Sephin'roth pledged his services to the mighty Lu Bu and began to fight for the Demons army under the title of 'Gate General' Making swift friends with Ma Chao, whom Sephin'roth once saved, he defended (()) from an invasion with such cunning and strength that Lu Bu was immediately impressed. Another battle, early in the year gained him more attention as he slew the enemy general not moments after taking to the field. Lu Bu awarded Sephin'roth with a diamond and the title of 'Enchanter General' It was after this battle Sephin'roth met up with Kong Dai a well respected warrior in Lu Bu's army and the 'General of the Right' At once Sephin'roth joined the faction Kong Dai led and proceeded to council with Lu Bu. During the invasion of Chang An Sephin'roth held the gates with the mighty Nanman King Meng Huo felling over 1,000 troops by himself. When the battle ended, Lu Bu again awarded Sephin'roth for his services, giving him a bar of pure silver and the title 'Lt. Spear General' After being initiated into the General of the Rights faction, Sephin'roth was bade to prove his worth by defeating 500 enemies and the leader of them Mudachong. He struck out at once and slew them to a man descending upon Mudachong after saving Kong Dai from their betrayal with a resounding cry of: "Meet your Maker!" at which point she burst into flames and died. Secure now in his faction, Sephin'roth once again sought training with the Wu Tai monks...who were eager to avenge their mistakes of the past. He bested them again, thanking them for the practice they allowed. With the money he gained as reward, Sephin'roth once more took to the forge mountains and learned the secrets of ice. Being instructed by Lu Bu to quell bandits in the south, Sephin'roth attacked with speed and precision, soon finding himself face to face with the bandit leader Zhou Tai! After defeating the legendary swordsman, Sephin'roth was praised by Lu Bu given a sheet of Moon Steel as a reward. Lu Bu also appointed Sephin'roth the title of 'Rear General' and they feasted. After clearing a small village of Flame Tigers Sephin'roth was tasked with aiding the invasion of Xi Liang in which he accounted for 1,300 warriors slain, the taking of two supply bases and the destruction of the enemies main camp in a fire attack. Lu Bu awarded the champion with a Moon Diamond for his services. By this time, Sephin'roth commanded over 10,000 troops. It was at this time he took up service escorting the Lady Cai Wenji out of Lu Bu's territory safely. He was then tasked to aide the invasion of Xu Chang . Before he embarked, he was approached by a messenger who asked him to defect to a powerful southern lord. Sephin'roth looked at the man and spoke saying: "Do you realize the gravity of your words?" to which the messenger replied: "You shall regret this!"

Year 193ad
Sephin'roth descended upon Xu Chang at the head of 11,600 troops. He was joined by Sun Quan, Sun Ce, and Ma Chao with their combined units of 22,800 men. Thus 34,400 troops marched into Xu Chang under the banner of Sephin'roth who was in turn under the banner of Lu Bu. His foe? The God of War, Guan Yu. Lu Bu himself marched with the army, a conflict between titans unfolding. However, after slaying some 1,400 men Sephin'roth did not find Guan Yu at the main camp, but instead found Cao Bao! Infuriated at being cheated of a glorious battle, Sephin'roth burned the enemy main camp to the ground and struck Cao Bao's head from his body. Lu Bu awarded his general with a shard of Moon Amber and gave Sephin'roth the vaunted title of 'Tiger General' and so they feasted. Once again Sephin'roth was called upon to escort the Lady Cai Wenji through dangerous land. This time he was ambushed by Rensun Dao who was again bested by the flashing blade of Sephin'roth. Sephin'roth continued to escort the Lady Cai Wenji back into Lu Bu's territory until she was at last safe. Sephin'roth struck out to the edge of his lords land, attacking a small fleet of pirates led by Taishi Ci. During the battle he stumbled across Rensun Dao! Beset on all sides by enormous White Fang wolves, Sephin'roth saved the warrior who promptly fled. Reports of a massive beast attack caused Sephin'roth to travel to an allies aide. When he arrived, Sephin'roth found Bian Xi beset by over 100 Golden Wolves. Upon saving the officer, Lu Bu awarded Sephin'roth with the title of 'Lt. East General' of his lands. It was then decided that He Fei should fall. The invasion was a success, Sephin'roth making short work of the defenders. He was rewarded with Star Gold for his service in battle. Following that victory, the final trial of the Wu Tai monks would commence. Twas a long battle, but the headmaster Monk fell. Sephin'roth now had full control of his Qi. After a brief clash with bandits, led by Gan Ning (For it seemed all of Wu was nothing more than bandits and pirates) Sephin'roth was made the 'Perimeter General' of Lu Bu's forces. Not soon after, He Fei was under attack as its former occupants tried to reclaim it. They went to the slaughter as Sephin'roth struck down any who crossed his path. After that defense, he took a much needed rest to restore his troops. A man cannot rest on his laurels however and soon Sephin'roth marched for Xia Pi. Slaying Dong Min and his pathetic rabble was almost beneath Sephin'roth, but he was a loyal soldier and his lord was pleased bestowing upon him a Lion Tail. Taking time to go back to his roots, Sephin'roth departed for the mountains, hunting the rather large Snow Tigers that lived in the cold peaks. While there, he was greeted by none other than Rensun Dao who pledged his loyalty to Sephin'roth if he would but take him on as a warrior in the army. Sephin'roth agreed. As he was teaching Rensun Dao the art of bandit slaying, Sephin'roth was given a promotion to 'Captain General' which, though sounding odd, was very high up in the running of the army. Twas in the autumn of that year when Lu Bu ordered for the invasion of Xiang Yang. Sephin'roth however had to speak against such an action, suggesting that they crush the territories inside their own. With skill he debated that invading Bei Hai led by a miserable wretch named Yue Jiu would strengthen their interior. Taishi Ci stood up shouting: "How dare you speak to our leader that way!" However, before Lu Bu could speak, Kong Dai stood shouting above the others in his booming voice: "MY LORD! We would not offer this suggestion without prior thought! Please think of it." Lu Bu was impressed and decided to let the invasion plans be switched. The attack was carried out flawlessly and Bei Hai fell. As a reward, Sephin'roth was gifted a brace of Dragon Claws for his sound advice. It was during the feast afterward that Sephin'roth persuaded Lu Bu to take the throne and rule the land. And so it was done! Sephin'roth made for Luo Yang as Guan Yu once again stuck his neck out, just quite far enough to be seen. The invasion was repelled but with cost. For among the enemy lines stood Zhou Tai. Even against Spehin'roth he stood his ground, managing to wound both Ma Chao and Rensun Dao with an impressive attack before he was forced to flee. Ma Chao was sent back to the camp to heal, while Rensun Dao managed to press on despite his wounding. The enemy camp torched, Sephin'roth went back to the forge master to imbue his weapon with greater destructive power. Truly it was Heaven's Blade now, for lightning danced among its edge, the blade imprinted with a Mystic Seal of elemental power. Taking his new weapon, Sephin'roth crushed an insurrection by defeating 1,000 men in but a hand full of minutes. And so the year came to a close.

Year 194ad
Once again Council was held and Sephin'roth took the floor, suggesting they finish the job of unifying the interior before looking outwards. Lu Bu agreed even after Taishi Ci voiced his aggression of Sephin'roth speaking out to their lord. Kong Dai merely had to stand before the decision was made. Sephin'roth made his way to Pu Yang to slay any who stood against them. Pu Yang was brought down, great flames giving rise to a false dawn in the night as Sephin'roth, furious that a single base fell to the enemy burned each and every base he entered. Casualties ran high for the enemy as even with the flames Sephin'roth stalked the area like a hunting ground, descending upon any troops he found and routing them utterly. Lu Bu, who had been attacked by assassins in the night gave Sephin'roth a Dragon Eye for his ability to see through the enemy plot. For his prowess on the field, Lu Bu gave Sephin'roth the title of 'Commander General' Later that night, Zhen Ji was at the feast and approached Sephin'roth. She asked to join and he did not disappoint. Sephin'roth soon marched for Xiang Yang with the army, for the time had come to kill a God. The battle was swiftly decided, Sephin'roth choosing to burn the castle Guan Yu currently took refuge in. The two clashed, the God of War no match for the warrior of the Three Kingdoms. Lu Bu awarded Sephin'roth with a set of Dragon Scales for his ability in combat. Not soon after, a messenger from Guan Xing, a powerful southern lord, arrived offering praise and rich rewards if Sephin'roth should switch sides. With but a glance he had the messenger executed on the spot and his head sent to Guan Xing. In the early summer, Sephin'roth and Rensun Dao swore an oath to end the chaos. 'Our fates are now intertwined.' spoke Rensun Dao. While returning from a rescue mission in the mountains, Sephin'roth was granted the title of 'Viceroy' by Lu Bu. Using his newfound powers, Sephin'roth suggested during the next council that instead of attacking the lands of Guan Xing, who was holding the Nanman and other rabble away from Lu Bu's territory, that they should instead march for Tian Shui a small province largely unaffected by the warfare going on. Kong Dai cleared his throat, but no one objected to the decision. Not even the Emperor Lu Bu! The invasion was swiftly carried out, Tian Shui fell with no problem at all. Though its defenders were brave, they had no experience in war. Sephin'roth was awarded a Dragon Beard for his swift conquer of Tian Shui. It was at this point Sephin'roth rode out with a warband into the south, for a massive Nanman army had risen up in the jungles and all sorts of war was breaking loose. After defeating the tribal lords, Sephin'roth was approached by the infamous Diao Chan, great great great great great great ancestor of Four Chan, who wanted to be 'friends' with the warrior. How could he refuse the woman? Upon taking the mantle of Viceroy, as well as his close contact with many of the nobles, Sephin'roth managed to garner more funds for the army by pressuring certain individuals. Yuan Shao was one such man that, because of his noble birthright, felt the need to 'help' the 'lesser' peoples. Sephin'roth ignored the mans words...money after all, was money. Battle orders were given for the winter, and Sephin'roth marched for Jian Ye. However, the battle was fierce, Rensun Dao was wounded when the cowardly Dong Zhou triggered a rockslide. Sent back to camp to mend, Sephin'roth took up the charge and crushed Dong Zhou however, the fat mongrel managed to escape by throwing 1,000 bodies between him and the wrath of Sephin'roth. Jian Ye fell, seeing Rensun Dao return to the field before the day was won. Lu Bu gifted a Dragon Heart to Sephin'roth for his outstanding display of strength. As the year ended, Sephin'roth made for the mountains, to awaken the power of Musuo that resided within him.

Year 195ad
Lu Bu ordered the army to make for Jiang Ling. It was time to take the fight to Guan Xing. The battle proved to be a joke, Sephin'roth crushing the enemy main camp and it's leader who had foolishly set up below Lu Bu's own camp on the mountain top. For his decisive crushing blow, Lu Bu gifted another Dragon Beard to Sephin'roth. Rensun Dao also gifted a Pure Diamond he had looted on one of their previous adventures. After a period of rest, the orders came in to march on Han Zhong. However, as Sephin'roth prepared to depart he was met in secret by Xiahou Yuan who slipped him info about where Hu Che Er another lord, would be. Sephin'roth acted on this and devised a sneak attack. The attack went perfectly, Sephin'roth setting fire to Hu Che Er's main camp as he lay sleeping. Forced out, he was wounded but manged to flee the battlefield. However, the province of Chai Sang became part of the domain of Emperor Lu Bu. Upon return to the army, Jiang Ling came under attack from Guan Xing's forces. Sephin'roth rushed to the defense of the province. The defense went well, the battle being pushed back into Han Zhong where Sephin'roth fought with savagery. The province burned, earning Sephin'roth a set of Dragon Scales and the oath of Ma Chao joined the one he made with Rensun Dao. At Council, Lu Bu, as ever, wanted to make progress toward the military. Sephin'roth, a One Man Army, suggested that he instead focus on Diplomacy between officers on the interior, that they may be strengthened against defectors. As such, he brought forth yet ANOTHER messenger with pleas to join Guan Xing. Lu Bu had the man executed and struck Taishi Ci who again disrupted the talk with shouts against Sephin'roth. Kong Dai had prepared his strong hand, but let the Emperor do the honors. Lu Bu agreed and dispatched Sephin'roth to invade Hui Ji. The province fell without a single officer in the allied army being struck. For his part, Sephin'roth was awarded a Dragon Liver. After a few months rest, council was again brought up. Lu Bu wanted to focus on the army and Sephin'roth agreed, however, he suggested that they focus on an elite branch that would fight as a unit and therefore much better. Lu Bu liked the idea and made plans for it. Orders to march against Jiao Zhi were handed down and Sephin'roth headed out at the head of over 70,000 troops. Hu Che Er didn't stand a chance and promptly broke before the onslaught. Jiao Zhi fell and Sephin'roth was awarded strands of Dragon Hair. Later that night, Sephin'roth proposed to a fine young woman. "It's like you read my mind." She said. They were married in secret and vowed to stay by each others side. After some time, Sephin'roth met with the head of a cult and collected gold that he was owed. Jiang Ling again came under attack and again Sephin'roth rode to its defense. Once more Guan Xing was pushed back and his idle chat of defecting ignored. Sephin'roth again squeezed the nobles for funds and repaired the damages the invaders made.

Year 196ad
Lu Bu made strides toward the military again and asked if Sephin'roth would like to contribute anything. Sephin'roth proposed to carry on training of the elite units and all were in agreement after their usage in battle. Even the uncouth Taishi Ci! Battle orders to invade Ling Ling came down and Sephin'roth marched to war. Ling Ling was taken and again Sephin'roth crossed blades with Hu Che Er. Once more the ruler managed to flee, but he had Sephin'roths respect. So rarely did a monarch fight with his men...it was much like his lord Lu Bu, while never taking to the field himself, was there to inspire his men. For his part, Sephin'roth received a Dragon Beard. While at rest, Sephin'roth met with a mysterious merchant who sold him a Mystical Stone that rejuvenated his entire fighting force. He met with the mighty Nanman King Meng Huo who was part of Lu Bu's vast force. The Nanman king was desperate to get his lands of Nan Zhong back. He suggested that he lend some aid and issued for his beast packs to accompany Sephin'roth into battle. Thus prepared, Sephin'roth rode into battle upon the back of an enormous Flame Tiger and vowed to try and not burn the entire jungle down. Upon arriving, the enemy force noticed who it was and fully half the army turned, remembering the form of Sephin'roth during the Tribal Wars. The Main camp was seized and at last Hu Che Er was slain by Sephin'roth. Nan Zhong was conquered. Another time of rest brought council and the plans for further elite development made. Battle Orders to invade Cheng Du came down and so the army marched. To take this Province would mean surrounding the last two held by Guan Xing. Before he departed, Sephin'roth received a Diamond from Diao Chan who said it was a 'late wedding present' He supposed Women would talk after all. The time for battle was at hand. Cheng Du fell, it's leader dying in the flames that engulfed the Main Camp. Sephin'roth walked away, knowing that only Guan Xing stood in the way of Lu Bu. In the dark of night, Sephin'roth met once again with Xiahou Yuan, gathering intel. of movements. Sephin'roth rode out for another sneak attack on Guan Xing's lines. Yong An fell in one night. Guan Xing barely escaping with his life. A third of his forced joined Lu Bu and the era was soon to come to a close. Guan Xing rallied his forces and attempted to take back Yong An. The invasion met with disaster, Sephin'roth sending Pang Tong and the others packing back to the last province. Battle orders were not needed, but given. Chang Sha shall fall, and the land united under one banner. Emperor Lu Bu. Chang Sha fell. Sephin'roth defeating Guan Xing and obliterating the body by flinging him off a cliff as he was set afire.

It was over...
Lu Bu ruled over China. At the grand feast it was revealed that Sephin'roths wife was none other than Diao Chan! Lu Bu blessed them and sounded the horn for the land to be festive. Ma Chao and Rensun Dao offered thanks and humble words at being oath bound to Sephin'roth. Kong Dai came forward and presented a horse named Hex Mark as a gift. A set of armor was made for Diao Chan by the forge master and Yuan Shao boasted how it was all because of him.

And so it was in autumn of the year 196ad that China was united.

The Legacy of Kong Dai
An account of the trials of Kong Dai when the land was in Chaos

Year 189ad
And so it came to pass that Kong Dai, Rensun Dao, and Jinsu Vero traveled together in the lands of Luo Yang. They lived the life of sellswords and sought out the fame and fortune that mercenary work would bring. Kong Dai wielded an immense halberd called 'Destroyer' that was a cross between a scythe and an axe. Rensun Dao carried a long staff called 'Red Dusk' and Jinsu Vero had a sword named 'Dragon's Might' at his side. Kong Dai and Rensun Dao wore armor in their respective colors while Jinsu Vero wore strange elaborate robes and a tall pointed hat filled with animal bones and many teeth. They were companions of a sorts, in each others company because they could trust each other on the field of war. Early in the year they took on a group of bandits raiding a nearby village...and their legend began. They attacked in the night, striking the bandits while they slept. Jinsu Vero struck out from his comrades, following the sounds of screams. In the dark he slid down a hillside and descended upon a band of thugs trying to attack a woman. Saving her, she thanked him, calling herself Dong Bai and fleeing into a nearby house. Kong Dai found the leader of the bandits, Lu Kuang and killed him in a duel. The bandits were slain and the village offered gold and gems as a reward for saving them. One day in town, Kong Dai was greeted by a Mysterious Merchant that offered to sell him an ancient artifact. Kong Dai agreed and was handed a scroll. The scroll held ancient weapon techniques that he shard with his allies, causing them to be more skillful. Taking on another job to hunt down some pirates, the three waited till dark to jump aboard their ships and cause mayhem. While at the harbor, Kong Dai rounded a corner and saw a woman in trouble...it was Dong Bai! She was under attack by Golden Fang wolves. Quickly dispatching them, Kong Dai asked if she was alright, but she was already gone. Upon rejoining his comrades, Kong Dai and Jinsu Vero struck down the pirate leader Shen Pei in an impressive dual attack. Their next task saw them holding a bridge from enemy forces. The Rider in charge was knocked off the bridge by Kong Dai after an attack. Jinsu Vero shouted: "You shall not pass!" as the warrior fell to the rocks below. Rensun Dao spoke up saying: "This is the life." A month later, Kong Dai left to undertake training in the Wu Tai academy. Upon his return the three ventured to an archery contest. None of them were archers, but they did challenge the archers to a duel, emerging victorious, proving that the Bow and Arrow was indeed not a great leap in warfare. After that they trained with a calvary unit, gaining experience in superior mobility on the battlefield. They spent the remaining months hunting beasts in the mountains for desperate villages, all the while gaining the fame and fortune they desired.

Year 190ad
The year began with Rensun Dao, Jinsu Vero and Kong Dai swearing an oath of camaraderie. They spent the year training with various fighting arts, helping villages, and hunting beasts in the wild. Several times they rescued the woman Dong Bai from whatever trouble she had gotten herself into. They escorted officers through dangerous territory and once were guards to Sephin'roth as he delivered letters to the Emperor. The year was spent well, for their abilities grew and they gathered strength in a small mercenary band of those who would follow them into combat.
