Possible low-level untapped psychic activity in the cortex.
Nervous system maps on to neural motor function precursors of nearby higher level intelligence networks. Reflexive and ubiquitous, detecting incoming instances from multiple angles with varying degrees of lethality...almost omniscious. Brain yields high-energy electromagnetic waves of frequency the order of six terrahertz. The capacity to harness said energy for hypersonic shockwaves leaves targets incapable of basic motor functions.

Spy-satellites over Canada...just doesn't matter.
Never enough blood spilled in someones name.
As the Godfather said:

"There are some men who go through life just BEGGING to be killed."

Raise your hand for the harvest.
Wonder no more why He carries a scythe.

Give me red.
Give me red.
Ca-Caw Ca-Caw *BANG* F*CK! I'm dead.

The Ramblings 'In the end...'

Post by Kaome Sky Deathand » Thu Sep 17, 2009 3:02 am

In the end I suspect that Kashim would die in a very horrible way.
He would lose everything he held so dear to him and no one would be there to mourn his passing.
Not a single person could ever imagine what horrible truths he concealed simply by existing...of what horrible nightmares he had in the deep dark inner work of his mind...of the power that resided within him, gripping and deadly...of the voices that plagued his soul.

"I have dreamed a dream..." he would whisper...tears in his eyes.
Bleeding and broken he would stand staring into the sky as the only female to ever express 'love' for him would fall to the earth in flames. He would watch as she continued to exist until the very point of impact, possibly falling from a battle of such titanic proportions and epic intensity that the gods themselves would turn their heads away in grief.
"...and now that dream is gone from me..." he would choke out in a whisper....then he would close his eyes and bow his head, the fire washing away his flesh and blood and bone as his first companion exploded into a catastrophic fireball of searing heat. Of course the others would try and sacrifice themselves...Grimm throwing up a strange ward, a shield, a dome of bone. Vor would embrace the human and try to pass on the intangibility aspect...but we all know how fire cleanses the soul...Yes?
No.
Fire doesn't cleanse...it blackens.

The Demon no doubt would fall in combat elsewhere, driving Kashim to this destructive fate.
The ties that bind those two were on so many levels the poor players couldn't comprehend the magnitude of it all.

In the aftermath the dust would stir.
Bones would rise and give shape to a new form...that in turn seeking out something it tried to remember it once had in a life it no longer possesses. In time it would find the sword...then cease being a symbol of hope and struggle...turning into something vile and blood thirsty. Tamers would come and go and so very very many would fall to the scythe...

In the end it too would die...
Trying to save that which it never truly had.
Then the man might be remembered, he might be counted rich even if someone were to draw his history.
Alas these are broken ramblings...
..it's all scattered to the dust now...

Ridding the world of people like that?
Would it be worth an eternity of torture?
Oh yes, I would suffer a thousand thousand penance marks for the chance to send each and every one of them to Hell.
Happily would I step into the fire for the sweet and single chance to turn their greatest loves into worst nightmares.

Does that make me a horrid man?
No.
Men could not make the choice...only something far far worse.
To not be counted amongst men is a gift I hope none of you ever have to have.

There are rules to Samhain.
Ancient traditions long forgotten by the race that inhabits the dust now.
Blissfully unaware they take part in an Old World ritual they know nothing of.
One single night is all they get walk these shadowed roads, one single glorious night.

Best to prepare now...than suffer then.

Jessica Rabbit....
It was the song so many years ago.
It was back then you knew what she meant.
Now the words are heard only by us outdated relics, dwellers in the dust.
Why don't you do right? Like some other men do....

I like the look of Agony.
That perpetual shriek, that twisted look of fear in the eyes.
It is the one emotion I can read on a persons face and know for certain to be true.

Not everyone dies from a visible wound.
Not everyone dies from some horrible affliction.
Sometimes we die simply because we lose the will to fight...the will to live...

"Legio, for God's sake don't!"
The concussion of the grenade launcher seemed louder than the explosion it caused.
Slowly the Hard-Wired Coffin turned away from the pathetic AC crumpled on the deck meters away.
It wasn't anything personal...just business.

"Angel, one for pick up."
*-* 'And Raven?' *-*
"Dead."
*-* 'God help us...what have you done...this was supposed to change things. He promised. A new way. An age of peace...' *-*
"A glorious war..."

The ammunition fired from the Pulse Carbine chewed through the Muscle Tracer like it was paper.
Legio could hear the death screams picked up over the comms. It was chaos inside the Ark. Seven hours into Project Zero the Ark came under a direct assault spearheaded by Abyss of the Lucifer Blacks. If there was a mercenary group you did not want the attention of, it was them. To add to the assault, the fifth column on the inside destroyed any reasonable hope for an organized counter assault. With the push of a button Legio had wiped out not only the defense mainframe, but the priority target.
Raven fell because Legio wished it.

The reward was immense, assuming he could survive to claim it.
Now the Hard-Wired Coffin stalked the trembling skyways of the Ark, heading for the Machine bay and the immense hangar doors to his freedom. The MTs were nothing to him, targets for pulse ammo to rip through. Metal for his Vorpal blade to segment. Two more ACs fell to him, their cores drifting in some hall has the gravity drive was disengaged or destroyed by the Lucifer Blacks. They meant nothing to Legio. He did not belong to any organization, he did not fear retaliation from the corporations. He was Legio of the Hard-Wired Coffin. This was business, and business was good.

"Angel..."
*-* 'Under fire but your dogs are doing a good job of covering me.' *-*
Dogs. The Lucifer Blacks were often called the Black Dogs, hounds of war to be unleashed.
"They owe me...almost to the target point."
Legio keyed for the Machine Bay door to open.

There she stood, as he knew she would be.
*-* 'Legio, how could you?' *-*
"Let it go Viola...this is the way things are."
The Honor of Death raised its weapon, an elegant laser rifle of severe lethality.
"Don't make me destroy you Viola...this place doesn't have to be your grave."
*-* 'Go to hell Legio...That Ac will be your tomb.' *-*
Legio chuckled. "Why do you think I named it so?"
The Hard-Wired Coffin boosted into combat....

The air was filled with energy discharge as the Honor of Death swung the energy blade built into its left hand.
The Hard-Wired Coffin deflected the elegant blade with brutish blocks of the Vorpal barrier around its own left arm. The Honor of Death was an elegant lightweight frame meant for kill strokes. Precise attacks to cripple the opponent. Viola had the upper hand in speed, penetrating Legio's guard on several occasions. She got him more. He got her deeper.
Every parry and counter-slash he leveled tore out vital chunks of her outer armor and vital systems.
Twice the Hard-Wired Coffin had used its superior strength by tossing the Honor of Death around like a rag doll. His pulse ammunition crippled her armor servos, his grenade launcher causing concussion backwash inter her systems. Her delicate radar systems were damaged and her booster system was in a constant red line. Shrapnel had impaled her cooling case, spilling the vital fluid into space.

The Hard-Wired coffin blocked yet another thrust, counter-slashing with an ugly efficiency.
Viola screamed in agony over the comms as the backlash of losing an arm fried her circuit board. The Honor of Death lost it's sword arm, the appendage floating away and exploding as the cut power cells erupted. Legio followed up by engaging his over boost, smashing his AC into hers, heading for the far hangar wall. The impact jostled his systems, screens glaring with warning runes and flashing lights. He ignored them, releasing his hold on the Honor of Death before opening his Internal ports and launching all sixteen of the short range missiles point blank.

Viola screamed in agony, her shredded Causing Legio to pause.
Her AC was in taters. The Honor of Death just barely able to move. Caught in the twisted metal and massive power cables of the hangar wall, Viola was unable to move her Ac in any direction. The Ark had turned, nearly making the wall she rested on the floor. Legio engaged his anchors, keeping the Hard-Wired coffin from sliding around the twisting hangar. The Honor of Death twitched, bringing up the energy rifle in its right hand.

"Don't Viola. Let it be. It doesn't have to end here for you."
*-* '...you killed him Legio...you killed him...why? WHY COULDN'T YOU JUST LEAVE US ALONE?!' *-*
Legio didn't respond, watching the weapon slowly be brought around to his AC. He keyed for the Grenade Launcher on his shoulder to activate. The weapon unfolded, his AC so massive it did not require him to kneel...or even brace if he so chose.
*-* '...you took everything from us...from me! Why would you do this? For money? He trusted you!' *-*
She rambled, her weapon almost close enough to fire.

"Goodbye Viola."
She screamed over the comms, her weapon firing somewhere off to the side as the grenade from the Hard-Wired Coffin slammed into the chest plate and shot the Honor of Death out the fractured wall of the hangar and into the upper atmosphere. Legio disengaged the anchors and let his Ac slide to the gaping wound.
"Angel..."
*-* 'Jesus Legio was that Viola?' *-*
"Used to be...get ready to receive."
*-* 'I'm ready...Christ...Carom is going to kill you for this...' *-*
Legio chuckled on the open comms.
"We'll see...money changes people..."
*-* 'That was her sister...' *-*
"That she didn't like. Go to Touch in ten."

The Hard-Wired Coffin slipped out into weightlessness.
The immense form of a Steel Gunship swept by, snatching the AC up into it's belly.
*-* 'Your Angel is here.' *-*
"Amen." Legio muttered before sitting back to take in a damage report.
It was almost too easy...almost.

Viola didn't die till the Honor of Death impacted some three miles from the Ark, slamming into the downtown district of Tillion Ten. She screamed all the way down, her last thoughts of pain and agony before she was liquefied against her own console. The Honor of Death destroyed seven square blocks and at least 13,000 people lost their lives in the primary explosion. Death toll counting....
