Re: 1.09 and Beyond
Every game has easter eggs in it and no one complains about things like WoW or Starcraft or WC3 as being unprofessionally made games. I don't see why DoE should be treated any differently. I meant no offense, I was just wondering. I understand your point. It is funny, as I already mentioned, and no...

Re: Unusual heroes that work
He also said 'that work.' For me, the hero in the first post only works to prove my point that IceFrog has no idea what he's doing in terms of map and hero design. That is what I realized a month ago. I play only DoE for a month now. I play DotA rarely, and I found it, ehm, somewhat strange. I can'...

Re: 1.09 and Beyond
Oh my, oh my, what I found today. Start a Single-Player Desert of Exile on Bane, pick Caliga, and cast Oblivion Seal on the first unit you find, and then read the Buff's tooltip on the Target. :D Ownage! Also, the Knight's Block is the Stone Giant's Rock Armor, if you Mind Control them with Vertajun...

Re: Item Suggestions v1.09
~Vesuvan: I love the first one, but it shouldn't cause Cripple, I'm thinking about Ruin. -10 Armor, so that you can easily loose the amount of hit points it will regenerate. The second one is somewhat useless, with only holding it for 5 seconds, considering you could just buy a Potion to dispel them...

Re: Item Suggestions v1.09
It seems you're completely redoing a lot of things, either 1.09 will be a big success or a tragic failure, i'm hoping for the the first.Rising_Dusk wrote:I just got around to the items and I'm totally redoing the shops (Probably more than I honestly need to...), but yeah.

If you want to mess up Victor completely, go ahead.
Just jokin', I'm sure you will replace it with something even more better...

Re: Gorak, the Earthfury
Actually Sozen has the potentional to move as fast as if he would have Blink, but it's way more balanced and fun, with the self Ruin and the pure fact that you're not invulnearable. Of course, also better because it has the synergy with his Ultimate, in a somewhat good, (Well, they can't loose you) ...

Re: Victor's Rebirth
Victor is very powerful, but pretty balanced too, I get amazed at how this map does this with several heroes! Janise, Rikter and Sozen comes into my mind for first. Just a few hours ago, I easily pushed the whole upper lane to the enemy barracks and demolished it, with the enemy Rikter standing help...

The Flame Fading Instant Cast Invisibility & Damage over Time and Maim Apply Description: Instantly makes an allied hero permanently invisible, but deals [X] damage over time to it, and applies Maim. What do you think? Notes: It slows down the fleeing hero, but also makes it invisible and deals aro...

But also allow enemies to easily re-kill your allies, if they died at a very bad place, probably next to a few towers. I really like his suggestion, hope I see this in 1.09.RadON wrote:This would allow more synergy between Victor's ultimate and his Martyr skill.

Re: Item Suggestions v1.09
Goblin scope Allows the hero to see past walls and up ramps WoW, I like this, Cooldood, but it would be better to have it as a Far Seer - Far Sight, with a low maximum range, around 1500-2000 or so. What do you think? We could use it to reveal areas not far away... but it has to be a low aura, like...

Well, I hope 1.09 will be godly, so I can get my friends to play it with me 'till summer. At least whenever I pick Glasse, his icon will remind me of Dusk. I love that icon so much..

Hey, I'm back!
It's funny, that I liked Eikalo Vukari, the Equilibrator, the most, and he got disqualified because of the player.
