Re: Dark Storm - (The) Plague

Typically I would never post any information on my maps until it is at the very least playable. There's often a lot of confusion to be had in trying to explain something that would just be better off shown to them. You mentioned a beta being ready, I'd be willing to try it and comment on the design ...

Re: To big for a sig?

Try to organize the text to be next to the picture, not above it. The picture is okay size-wise, but on the whole your signature is way too spaced out and vertically large.

Re: 1.07 Discussion

Now whenever I play DoE almost noone picks sozen on purpose...and frankly I can't blame them.
Why? Because he's finally fair?
He's still deadly as hell, just God forbid you have to be a decent player to use him now.

Re: 1.07 Discussion

Neither do I. It was really an experiment. I'm going to change it back to the immolation effect for 10DPS, but it's going to be a purple fire and still increase ruin durations.

Re: Movement detection on hostile heroes

there are a bunch of ways to do this. The simplest is to detect if the unit is in its walk or run animation. You could also periodically check its x and y position. There is no GetUnitAnimation function call as much as I wish there were. If there is and it somehow isn't in CJ, please let me know, I...

Re: The new forum

Invest in a photo/picture editing program such as Abode Photoshop or the freeware, GIMP. In those, it has options under "Image Options" to resize the image to any length by width pixel dimensions you could desire. Or if that's impossible for you to achieve for some reason, post it in the Banner and ...

IsTerrainPathable(GetUnitX(u), GetUnitY(u), PATHING_TYPE_FLOATABILITY) This will return true if you are on land. not IsTerrainPathable(GetUnitX(u), GetUnitY(u), PATHING_TYPE_WALKABILITY) This will return true if you are in shallow or deep water. I had to extract those boolean checks from AotZ becau...

Re: The new forum

The nice thing about this new forum is we will be temporarily rid of those people that join up but never post. This new forum has tons of admin features the old ones didn't, including unfathomably more security. We can also mass-delete users that have been inactive for X time period, a feature the ...

Re: The new forum

Overall, I like it. It just seems a bit too blue, but that's only because I've been seeing that green and gold for two years off and on. I looked through at least 200 different styles before coming to terms with this one. Nearly every other style was too bright and blinded you if you looked at it f...
