Re: The Big-Bot Brawl
I suppose your only argument here is "Because we don't currently have giant mechs IRL, clearly it is shot in its basis in physics." Sorry, my good chum, but in that you are wrong. The physics of a mech has been around forever, we already have them on smaller scales. The problem is more in the mecha...

Re: The Big-Bot Brawl
You know, just going "LOL MY ROBOT BLOWS UP GALAXIES" doesn't make it badass. Sure it does, Big ass giant robot with big-ass giant weapons = Bad ass giant robot with bad-ass giant weapons, haha It just makes it inflated without care for reason. (or physics) Nine Ball from AC2:AA stands as one of my...

Re: The Big-Bot Brawl
I have to say Armored Core: Nine Ball. Back in the day that was the most hardcore giant robot out there. No matter what AC you pulled out he just destroyed you...over and over and over again. When you finally beat him, it didn't even matter, 'cause he would come back and somehow be more epic than b...

Re: The Big-Bot Brawl
In terms of the 'slow moving' ones being obsolete from sheer lack of speed, the Bolt Gundam, most likely the slowest moving one in G Gundam, shows on more than one occasion throughout the series that strength can often overcome speed, just a matter of how much. Not to mention that the neural connect...

The Big-Bot Brawl
For some reason, I found myself watching a lot of shows with giant robots and it got me thinking: what if they were all thrown into an arena for a free-for-all? And I know there are probably plenty that you all can think of that aren't in the poll, but it's limited to ten options so feel free to pos...

Re: Study proves that college "dumbs kids down"
No kids left behind! I'm hoping you're being sarcastic since the "No Kids Left Behind" act was actually a horrible plan. But about the so called cold hard facts of this study. There is no correlation present between college and the whole "dumbing down of civic literacy" since they never tested thes...

Re: Mindset of Oblivion
The day came and went, while I remained paralyzed from truly unknown reasons and I did little more than sleep or stare. The day, which had so quickly turned to night, just as quickly turned to a new day, and the process repeated. Each passing day turned to days turned to weeks, and often I would ask...

Chauncey perked his ears, before raising his head and staring into the deep of the sandstorm circulating the city. He was standing in the middle of a street towards the outskirts of town, near where he last saw his master. He couldn’t make it out yet but, he knew something was coming towards him t...
