Standard of quality, maybe? In WC3 you could get away with a lot less and still look good/play well, due to the graphics and engine. SC2's expectations are higher, artistically and gameplay-wise?
Smashcraft is a good one though; try it out, it's well-polished.

Been sampling some custom games.
Well, something's different. It feels kinda like a different... texture? Somehow, moving seems less precise, no doubt because of that new pathing, but unit radii no longer feel sharp and defined like they did in WC3.
Dunno, just feels less enjoyable. Back to WC3.

Prog CLASSIC, what. It is good though. What a strange choice of songs, but they're both always there, and I like it. Also, the laughing is creepy. What I want to see is an entertaining minigame, something that takes >10 mins to play.
Hey maybe I should try making one. Fight with skeletons?

Oh it's still a little alive. I think people still would want to play DoE.

The main guy is in college, the other guy is not very involved, and I don't have access to the original text so it depends on the guy in college. He's understandably busy.

It's more of a discussion on why people do things like rip off the masses or murder strangers. Your social circle and the extent to which you can care is very limited. It's why many forms of utopian society don't work.
