Freerunner Videos!
Freerunner Videos!
Freerunning!
Extreme Tag
Freerunning - 3 (I forgot there wasn't a number 2... )
Mike, Rob, Cole, Sasha, and I.
You get to see pictures of us (and me, regrettably; my life is in crises now)!
(I'm also trying to get views for the video, BTW.)

Re: Freerunner Videos!
I can't tell if you are being sarcastic or not .
They are all rather fit except for maybe Sasha but I'm certainly not.
( I suppose I could tell you the following...)
Rob has asthma but is quite fit indeed and Mike placed in the top 5 in our school's 100m dash.
BTW: New video!

Psh, you call that Extreme Tag? You need like lava and random land mines and what not. Oh and probably you die if you get tagged.
Your move.

I like watching kids jump over stuff as much as the next guy but you don't really need more than one video of it. ~_~
Your move.

Re: Freerunner Videos!
Eh, it wasn't my idea to actually make it, although I contributed to it a lot.
New video, BTW. the REAL number 3. (NVM, epic fail. I'll upload sometime later...)

Re: Freerunner Videos!
i kept waiting for it to get good/impressive.
parkour is about fluidity and GOING somewhere. running in a stright line and saying "twink it" to obstacles. however, with its increase in popularity, many add some flare to their jumping techniques. also with added "flare" the running aspect tends to get slowed down due to awkward flips/jumps and repeating obstacles simply for flare's sake. however, to each his own. if you see a parkour video where you think something is redundant or inefficient, then its that new flare thing. true parkour is fast, fluid, and A to D. not A to B to C to D.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Odj8QPYi ... re=relatedthis is good free running at its best. because thats what parkour is: free running, not "hey watch me jump this (and only this until we find the next thing to jump)".
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TmMmSu6gewsplease excuse the french rap and slow opening. he does some warm ups, but doesnt actually start running until 2:00. yes his video has alot of inefficient flare.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WkHPQPozDRs for a prime example of fluidity and a good training ground.
what you want to do is practice and train. develop your reflexes, muscles, balance, and technique. take risks. watch videos that break things down and show beginners how to jump/climb/land. rolling is very important. me and a friend of mine would go to a playground near my house and practice often. playgrounds are usually good places, with the bars and high places and such. explore, try things out. get back to us with progress updates.

Even if the morrow is barren of promises, nothing shall forstall my return
Re: Freerunner Videos!
Ah, I defined "free running" as the flair-thing, and "parkour" as practical escape maneuvers/chasing.
Personally, I would stick parkour.

I'm just the camera-man.
I'll watch the videos and tell you what I think.
