some spell hotkeys

Hello at first,
I'm new to this forum so let me shortly intrduce myself.
I'm playing Advent of the Zenith since I've discovered a few months ago nearly every evening and trying to make the map more popular in Europe. (Alas it did'nt work very well yet ) However I still love the map and I also like Desert of Exile.

In AotZ there are some hotkeys that don't fit together or don't work, e. g. Dahakas Temporal Rift and Tempus Fugit use the same hotkey (F) so that I more than once accidentally used the ultimate instead of TR, what is really annoying.
Arro Kree's Corpus Oppressum's hotkey (C) doesn't work to lift up a unit, but when i intend to throw the unit, i can use the hotkey, although it's the same letter.
Another point that does only affect German Warcraft versions as I do have, is that the hotkey B usually issues the order "bewegen" (to move), so that it cannot be used for a spell either. Spells with hotkey B are e. g. Ginther's Backbreaker, Lunera's Broad Head Arrow and I think there was another one but I don't recall it at the moment.

I know these are just small issues and the last one is not of interest for non-German players but it still would be pretty nice if you changed these hotkeys before your entire alteration of the map system; perhaps in a version 2.02d or however you would call it.

All hail,
CL

It would be silly to change the hotkeys because your version of Warcraft is German, it is possible to change it to English without trouble. Custom hotkeys are also possible. I agree with the problem of TR and F, I have wasted my ultimate many times because of that.

Custom hotkeys would probably be your best solution.

All of these things will be considered for 3.00. I'm probably going to use some standardized key list for skills, but definitely not QWERT, they're just way too uncomfortable.

GHJKL is nice, or ZXCVB.

I like RFGT or FGBV.a

I think WERVB would be most efficient but it could put strain on the anckles. SDFCV could also work.

You can't use S. That's stop, which I actively use.

I can't even wrap my hands onto WERDC, how in the world would that be good?

Use it for learning passives.

I wouldn't see the point of making S for learning passives. (Doesn't even have to be passive)
And yeah, WERDC seems fail, let me dislocate on index finger to use that correctly!

Indeed. Then straighten your hand and make it fall on the keyboard. Keys that you can touch comfortably without it being one of the system command keys are as good combination as any. I actually keep my pinky on A all the time. There are hunderds of possibilities for different keystrokes but (AS)WEFG(H) seems most optimal to me.

Different keyboard maybe?

idk, I'm on a laptop with a scrollpad, which I use my right hand for.
Left Pinkie on A and switching to S
Left Ring on W
Left Middle on E
Left Index on R
Left Thumb goes between D and C

Idk, works for me. But maybe that's not the best for most keyboards... Might have to rethink my map's hotkeys, then...

I can't even play with my thumb to begin with, much less use it for two hotkeys. Haha.
