He looks awesome, no question, but bears too much resemblance to an ordinary death knight, especially his face.
Now is it true that he's Torrne in the future or not???

Re: What is Advent of Zenith really?
Oooh yeah, that's right. But I think he's got a weakness against heroes who take him on from afar. That's what I like in this map: every hero has somewhere a weak point.Ninja_Kero wrote:PS: Ronin can be annoying

Re: What is Advent of Zenith really?
That's quite exaggerated, isn't it? In every normal AotZ match I get to buy at least two of the good items plus to hire a few heroes. If you kill many units and some towers, gold shouldn't be the problem.Akruta wrote: The good items in AotZ are VERY expensive.

Re: What is Advent of Zenith really?
What I adore Advent of the Zenith for is the vaiety of the characters. You can't really say 'heroes' because each of them is more than just a hero. Each of them has a unique background and unique spells which are neither comparable to other character's spells nor to those of any hero in other maps. ...

...still 3 posts? Did you just join the forum to suggest this one hero??? Btw, I'm not sure if not maim, cripple and burn together weaken him too much for he just shares the same conditions with his foes by using his ultimate. The very needs to be much more powerful.

Re: Cintrax, HexStoned-Gargoyle
hm, I think she's good enough to be taken for the next version as she is. Really, I wouldn't change anything concerning the effectiveness of her spells. Her sob-story and spell naming is a bit sloppy but why not try her...?

Re: AotZ < DoE (apparently)
I've just skimmed this thread and I wanted to add some of my experiences in hosting AotZ to keep the thread going. There have been many different reactions on this map. Here a short briefing of the aspects several players were enthused by: - The heroes are cool and new (most positive reactions on Ar...

Re: Lore Discussion
1. Did the war in the Desert of Exile ever end? If yes, which side has won? Which answer soever I receive, it will result in further questions... Yes. Bane won that war, which led to AotZ. How do you know the bane has won? Where are the council members now and all the other heroes of the bane who f...

Re: A few simple questions
Thank you again, everything you showed me was working. Next question:
How do I make preparation abilities like Dins' Onslaught or Loghaire's Might, respectively how can I set a limit how much it can be layered

Re: Lore Discussion
I would like to know more about the following topics; hope these questions haven't been posed, yet: 1. Did the war in the Desert of Exile ever end? If yes, which side has won? Which answer soever I receive, it will result in further questions... 2. Why do no Voidwalkers fight on the Order's side? Ar...

Re: A few simple questions
Wow, huge thanks to you, Cold Phoenix! That's a great help for me! :D I might return later with further questions... EDIT: How do I set a multiplier or power in this equation? There is no free term for it... Set Variable - Set YourRealVariableArray[Player number of(Owner of (Triggering Unit)) = Real...

Re: A few simple questions
Thank you for the shift + double click-hint; it works pretty well. Unfortunately there are two problems with the other tips. When the units are created, their autocast spells are not activated (of course I removed the tech conditions) so that they don't cast them in battle. he second thing is, that ...

A few simple questions
Hi, I' ve been making (but nearly never completing) Warcraft 3 maps for years, but I was never really concerned with the trigger system and now that I see how powerful the Editor can be to create maps like AotZ, I feel a little silly to ask such questions. But nonetheless I would look forward to rec...

Re: Corvus, Raven Host
Corvus' only use for his Ravens are for catalysis for his spells, much like Legion. Legion could be done in the same way without emphasis on the Legions and he would've turned out just the same and unfortunately, Corvus happens to fall into that same category. The first statement is not right. Legi...

Re: Corvus, Raven Host
I think this would be fine - his ravens are like Legion's Legions (lol) - unselectable but with the difference to have a collision size to keep enemies away from Corvus. I think that's what Lightburner wanted to say with his imaginary word Un-Invunrable... (Think AotZ's Legion with Un-Invunrable Bla...
