Well, hol-ee-crap!

Look what I finally finished after several months, guys! The Hero Contest #4 Judging! The winners this time around were Fledermaus and Oxygen, so give them all a big round of applause in the thread I just linked! The "final" (tentative) version of Caliga that will go into 1.15 is also in that thread in the second post, so please comment on it and let us know what you think! I'd be happy to take feedback on it before it goes live or whatever.

Well, the move didn't work as nicely as I hoped it would. None of the passwords transferred and there were complications with the password retrieval. User authentication was also not at secure and I was swarmed by spambots. None of the addons I used helped, and I wasn't going to pay for the others. Instead, we are going to keep the old set-up for the time being. We may eventually move back again one Joomla! 1.6 comes our, or I may learn to build around phpBB. Until then, we're staying like this.

Starting next week, Monday May 10th, I will be installing Joomla! onto the server and using it to maintain the website. Because of this, the forums will be down for at least a couple of hours, and possibly up to a day or two. This will be to make sure everything moves over properly to the new software, and keep us from starting with a new slate on the forums. When everything is finished, there will be the potential for many new features, so if you have any suggestions, have them ready for next week.

Hi everyone! I went ahead and added the font tag because I thought it would be useful. I couldn't get phpbb to let me make a dropdown menu for the fonts, so instead I'll just have to list them and hope you all don't mind. You can find the button next to the center tag and the hover-over text explains how to use it. Simply use one of the following font names for the fontname argument and you're good. Cheers!
